iPhone Ringtones & Alerts

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I was up at the park for Ohio State Day, overnight at Breakers, and Opening Day. Had so much fun I'm going back for free veterans admission on Memorial Day Monday, overnight at Breakers, and back for more rides Tuesday. I've easily been to the park over 50 times in my lifetime and still can't get enough.

Now I want the Point! on my iPhone. Can you direct me to a collection of long and short sound files that could be used as ringtone, text tone, new voicemail, new email, sent mail, and calendar reminder alerts? For example, I'm thinking TTD launch sequence would make a great sent mail sound.

Can you help me out here? Or should I collect sounds myself Tuesday and post them?!?

I have Dragsters launch cables as my text message alert! It was going off on media day and people were looking around, wondering where the hell the sound was coming from. :)

My brother recorded it on a digital recorder and i did the media transfer on itunes and made it into a ringer. It sounds great!

I would LOVE to have the one for Millennium Force as my IOS ringtone.. I have tried a few times but can't get it to work.. If someone successfully converts it to a ringtone I would be sooo great full.

Well I got it to work I would post the m4r ringtone file for millinium force but I don't have a way of "hosting" a file if someone does and would be willing to make a link for others to download please message me and I will send you the 30 second file..

Thanks so much! I'm also thinking the clackty clack of Blue or Mean Streak lifts could be a good text alert, along with seagull calls for email alerts. I could see the old train whistle as a great calendar alert, too. Other ideas?

I converted the ones I linked above to MP3 and uploaded them. Also, Jay sent me the m4r of the Millennium one, and I found an mp3 to m4r converter online, so I converted the other three so they can be used on droid/anything that uses mp3 and also Iphone.

I used the first three seconds of Maveric's song to make a text tone.. it sounds alot like a coaster chain clanking.
