I'm trying to figure out how so many people voted "Smart phone, but mines not listed".

Are that many people really still using Palms, or is it they have an android phone and don't realize it?

Android users tend to by nature be a bit smarter about their gadgets, so I doubt it's any significant number of them.

Palm still holds a large number of users as a lot of people are still under contract and don't forget Windows 7 users. I suspect the real culprit would be the people who had a Blackberry shoved in their hand at work and barely know how to take an incoming call.

I think this is being caused by having no set standard as to what a "smart phone" is. Many wireless companies consider phones other than the Droids, Blackberrys, Palms, smart phones. Verizon is my carrier so I will use them as an example. Pretty much all phones are required to have internet plans, blurring the line between smart phone and cell phone. When I went shopping I was told multiple times that my Rouge was indeed a smart phone, but now it's considered a multimedia phone. So this maybe the reason why the poll is kind of high in the other selection.

I have an EnV3. That is just a regular cell phone. The option on the poll says "regualr phone (calls only)" Well I send about 13000 texts a month so I'm pretty sure I'm not in the calls only option. I put smartphone as mine.

So basicly, a "smart phone" is a phone that connects to the internet?

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I just used my HTC Evo to look at the webcam for Dragster line on the 4 of July. The line was almost empty so we ran over for 2 rides every time the line was empty, lines were empty because of the heat I think.

Along the lines of Iphone and Android apps for ride times, are there any apps for android to keep coaster counts? I found a few Iphone ones and did a quick look for android.

Being able to send text messages does not make your phone smart. I believe that a phone is considered "smart" when you can install apps on it, though I could be wrong.

CP probably should have asked whether you had an iPhone, Android, BB, Palm or "other".
