Android users tend to by nature be a bit smarter about their gadgets, so I doubt it's any significant number of them.
Palm still holds a large number of users as a lot of people are still under contract and don't forget Windows 7 users. I suspect the real culprit would be the people who had a Blackberry shoved in their hand at work and barely know how to take an incoming call.
I think this is being caused by having no set standard as to what a "smart phone" is. Many wireless companies consider phones other than the Droids, Blackberrys, Palms, smart phones. Verizon is my carrier so I will use them as an example. Pretty much all phones are required to have internet plans, blurring the line between smart phone and cell phone. When I went shopping I was told multiple times that my Rouge was indeed a smart phone, but now it's considered a multimedia phone. So this maybe the reason why the poll is kind of high in the other selection.

Rollbacks: 1st Triple Rollback of 2009!
I just used my HTC Evo to look at the webcam for Dragster line on the 4 of July. The line was almost empty so we ran over for 2 rides every time the line was empty, lines were empty because of the heat I think.
