Inversions or not??

I agree we don't want a Vekoma flier at CP but rather we might want a B&M flier at CP. I am very anxious to hear the reviews for AIR. I hope B&M can keep their record up with AIR. (my guess is they can).

And I thought I remember Janice Witherow saying after MF opened that CP was currently working on designing a coaster with the most inversions.

I rode Magnum 5 times and MF once with Robin Innes.
Gemini 100
It's Dan K's fault.
I think they should get an indoor bobsled coaster!

Yeah, I'm interested in AIR's reviews as well...
I remember that too Hooper.
So if thats right then cp may get a magnum/kumba hybrid! That would be cool.

Hypersonic XLC- 17 seconds of ride....only 1.8 of which are fun
I can honestly say that Power Tower is the most frightening experience of my life, and with that said, having a 300 foot suspended coaster would truly be pushing the limits. (not to mention Raptor's hill is more frightening than MF's in my opinion) The flight coasters ARE overrated, just as floorless. Like any music note or score, you can only innovate so much before you realize that it's time to innovate the innovated.
CCI coasters do not come with inversions. And they need a CCI coaster.
I thought X-Flight was overrated. Too short, not very high were my complaints. But Batman Night Flight rocked. I liked it more than Mantis. It really isn't that much different than a sit-down so a floorless mega looper would be great IMO.
The downside to getting a wooden coaster is that they require A LOT more attention as far as morning preparations. Plus after their experience with Mean Streak, do you think that CP would be that anxious to get another wooden coaster?

Personally I always thought of the floorless coasters from B&M as a bit on the gimmicky side. Really, do people spend that much time looking down during the ride? The only benefit that I can see is that your feet are dangling, but B&M seems to be making this a somewhat regular feature on all of their sit-down rides now. I'm really curious also to see how this new B&M flying coaster design works out in many ways, especially with the problems the Vekoma models seem to have.

As for CP though, its going to be very interesting to see what they might surprise us with. I don't know about the whole inversion idea just because there is a fair percentage of the GP that will not go on a ride simply because it does loop. But then again, it would be another record.
