The downside to getting a wooden coaster is that they require A LOT more attention as far as morning preparations. Plus after their experience with Mean Streak, do you think that CP would be that anxious to get another wooden coaster?
Personally I always thought of the floorless coasters from B&M as a bit on the gimmicky side. Really, do people spend that much time looking down during the ride? The only benefit that I can see is that your feet are dangling, but B&M seems to be making this a somewhat regular feature on all of their sit-down rides now. I'm really curious also to see how this new B&M flying coaster design works out in many ways, especially with the problems the Vekoma models seem to have.
As for CP though, its going to be very interesting to see what they might surprise us with. I don't know about the whole inversion idea just because there is a fair percentage of the GP that will not go on a ride simply because it does loop. But then again, it would be another record.
