She's a "veteran" member of the boards... If you saw Top 10 Coasters 2002 (01?), she did the Magnum POV shot.

Don't let that fool you - she loves her bird of prey :)

Raptor Jo is our Raptor groupie. If I'm not mistaken, she rode Raptor about 60 times one day.

I may be a new member to the boards but I'm a veteran coaster rider. I along with one other member of the FLCC may have the record. February 21, 2002 Sea World, Orlando. We we're trying for 100 Kraken rides in a day...only got to 91...park closed. That's 637 Inversions in one day. It is documented by fellow club members and Sea World Employees.

I haven't been to Sea World since Kraken was built so I'm curious about the typical volume of riders there are on any given day. How long of a wait did you have between rides?

I am there at least twice a month, and the longest I EVER waited was 20-30 minutes. Obviously front row is a little longer, but if the are running all three trains...it's pretty quick. That day however we pretty much stayed put in our seats, every so often the ride-ops would require us to get up and let other riders in, but the lines aren't too bad. Journey to Atlantis can have 1-2 hour waits though...

Most inversions for me is on Chang at SFKK.

93 rides for total of 465. Not bad considering a B&M stand-up! :) Of course,I had trouble walking for a week!

Long time no hear Jerry!!! Maybe we'll get on the front page of the paper again this year???? ;)

Yes Raptor Jo is female-surprised? I have a total of 4 (soon to be 5) CP and CP coaster tattoos, and I am proud to be called a Raptor groupie :) (thanks ddogg!) My personal Raptor ride record is 64 rides in one day which I did last August, which equates to 384 total inversions. If you take my total Raptor flights that equates to 4,248 inversions. They should use me as an example that coasters don't cause brain damage. Hold on..........maybe not!! ;)
And Matt-shut the **** up!! ;)

I'm not sure, but with colossus still holding the record for most inversions, I bet the line would be too long to get a good amount of rides in.

Good gracious, how do you guys do that? I rode the Raptor 8 times in one day, 5 of them in a row, and I was closing in on being woozy and nauseous after being tossed around like that.

Trying for 100 times in one day on a coaster just makes my poor mind boggle.

Fordman, Colossus actually isn't all that intense. FUN, yes, but not intense. I managed 6 rides on it the day we were at Thorpe (that's 60 inversions for those counting at home). I'm sure I've done better than that. Actually, I KNOW I have -- 21 rides on The Incredible Hulk. Probably more on others, too.
