Intresting thing about cranes

This is my first post ever. I found this pretty intresting. It said on my local news (cincinnati) that the cranes used to put up ttd were 1 of 4 in the country. I was wondering if this could of added up the total?
sorry I meant to put cost.

About the cranes, I have no idea.

I realized the edit button after I posted again. Thanks for not being a jerk about it though.
Five cranes were used. And yes, the two big ones (each 480 feet) are only two of four in the US.

I assume the cost of renting these was quite high.

Yeah I heard this also, excpet I heard they were the only 2 of 5 portables that were that high. Same point though that they're most likely extremely pricey.

The same crane was used to install the new scoreboad at PSU's Beaver Stadium... Mazzella Lifting is the company that owns the cranes, and send them out all over. Aparently they are the tallest portable cranes in the world.

No... the cranes, or at least the one I have photographed, are from ALL Crane rental, blocks away from where I work in Richfield.

There is also shop of thiers just outside Oregon on your way down route 2 to Cedar Point.

All Crane cranes has lifted all the steel in the park since Gemini if I remember correctly. Had a really interesting talk with one of the foremen during the building of VertiGo

Ok, my mistake. I just figured that since the Dragster is even taller than that scoreboard, the same crane was being used.

Also of note is the cost per day to rent the cranes. I'm sure someone could look up the exact figure, but it's about $3,000 per crane per day. There's a Mantiwoc 777T in use on a site near me, and at only 200 ft. tall it's $2,500 per day.

Is the cost of cranes included in the $25,000,000?
I'm pretty sure $25m represents the total investment.

Yeah, Rob, I just noticed the Richfield location is just for their "small" collection of those things they put people on. Doesn't Cedar Point outright own a few of those and a small crane?

All's main office is a Cleveland address.

I believe they do own the smaller ones you see around the park during the summer.

Heck, ALL's Columbus location is literally two blocks from my house, on the same street, just on the other side of the Interstate... :)
