Internet in hotels

Last year I noticed that in the Breakers hotle rooms they had an extra phone jack.

I was wondering if anyone knew whether that is for the internet if people bring their laptops? I also have a WiFi card built into my laptop, so does anyone know if there are any hotspots to legally get on the internet?

Last year I took around 140 digital pictures which I uploaded directly into my computer, so I could free up my memory cards. This year I may not bring my laptop if I am unable to get on the internet, because I bought a third memory card.

To my knowledge, there is no public WiFi in Sandusky. I think one ISP had advertised it once, but I don't think they have it in reality.

High speed access is not available for guests at the Breakers. I think the Radisson offers it, though.

Thanks for the help.

It's dial-up only. Being the cheapskate I am, I brought in Juno, and there wasn't a local access number.

I would suspect AOL has a local number, if that has any value to you.

Without upstops, airtime would have a whole new meaning!

for future reference, here is a pretty nice list of wireless access points around the world. http://www.nodedb.com/
