international budget travellers

hi!

i'm from central europe (namely hungary) and i'm planning to go to cedar point this august. i've always been a big fan of cp. although i only know it from fan sites, photos and coaster videos i'm sure it's the greatest place... .:)) i'd like to spend as much time there as possible so i seek your help. does anyone know a cheap and reasonable place to stay nearby? i'm not going to have much money, the plane ticket alone costs a fortune... i checked out some motel ads, i'm even thinking of tent camping, but i really don't know what to do. all i know is that i definitely want to stay there for at least 4 days...

any ideas? :) any other european cp fans here? :)

Since food is a constant no matter what you do, except mabey continental breakfasts, than tent camping is about the cheapest way to go, if you already have the equipment that is. Besides this, the cheapest hotel in the Sandusky area is the Dusk to Dawn hotel.

Another cost saver is to buy a season pass. Its a big cost saver if your going for more than 3 days.
