IntaRide, LLC of Glen Burnie, Md.?

Is IntaRide a Subsidiary of Intamin AG of Switzerland?

Anyone have any info on this company?

Read that.

What's up with that last paragraph? It makes no sense. Does Fun World not have copy editors?

Wow, that last paragraph is totally messed up.

Arguing with a coaster enthusiast is like wrestling with a pig in mud. After a while, you realize the pig enjoys it.

Looks like GoLive 6 screwed up the text when they were putting together the page. Probably a side effect of placing that graphic next to the bottom paragraph. Anybody need a reason to NOT use a WYSIWYG web page editor?

Im glad everyone else caught the last paragraph as well. I thought I had a stroke for a minute.....anyone speak yoda?

I figured I was one of the last people on earth that even knew HTML anymore.

Contrary to Dave's sentiment, no one gets a medal for editing HTML in Notepad (or TextEdit).

Nope. I do everything manually too.

IMO, WYSIWYG editors suck, although DreamWeaver works pretty well.

Personally, I use Taco HTML Edit OS X. Silly name, but great freeware program. *** Edited 9/7/2006 3:55:56 PM UTC by PKIDelirium***

Actually I have been doing most of my web coding recently in XCode, which is kind of overkill for a basic text editor. At work I have Dreamweaver MX, and the license says I can install it on my personal laptop, but the software activation does not allow for cross-platform installs. Jerks.

Visual Studio forever!!!!!11111 :)

You know, IAAPA does better work than any of the "trade publications," yet they don't get recognized. I guess they need an award program to get people to buy ads to be that popular.

Yeah ditto on VS, though, I'm a coder not a content creator or designer.

You're a little bit north there drummerboy. Intamin is based in Switzerland, not Sweden.

Goodbye MrScott

I was also wondering about this "IntaRide" matter. Thanks for clearing it up.

I know just tryin to be funny

the first inverted hydraulic-launch coaster (“Storm Runner,” Hersheypark)

Storm Runner is an inverted coaster?

Inverted as in goes upside down, not inverted like raptor.

Demon Drop 2004
Castaway Bay Lifeguard 04-05

So, when it says:

the first Linear Induction Motor (LIM)-launched inverted coaster (“Volcano The Blast Coaster,” Paramount’s Kings Dominion);

It's just talking about it's inversions and not the type of coaster?

Volcano is an Inverted.

Storm Runner is an Inverting.
