IntaRide LLC

Is this the same as Intamin?

Yes sir, I think it is like the North American branch of Intamin, or something of that sort.

IntaRide is located in Glen Burnie Maryland. It is the headquarters of the American division of Intamin World Wide. The President is Sandor Kernacs.

Thank you

Well at least parts can be made here in North American, for parks in NA, than having them made in Europe, and having to wait for shipment.

These rides are not made here. The US office is little more than a sales office.

Jeff, I know B&M has a fab shop in Ohio. But I for some reason thought Intamin (Intaride) Had a fab shop in the US as well.

I know all the meat and potatoes of the rides (drive systems and controls) were made in Europe, but I thought the started making the supports, track and other large weldments here (or at least sub-contract) to help keep freight costs down.

Edit: Upon further digging in the ol' internets, I have found that Intamin has its own freight company. Guess that is one way to cut down on cost when you are shipping hundreds of tons at a time.

B&M has their coasters fabricated by Clermont Steel Fabricators. But, it isn't their shop.

Intamin doesn't have a freight company... you're looking at a site that tracks imports.

When it comes to drive systems/motors/controls, they all come from a local company. They're spec'd by Intamin, and supplied by a company in the area.

And, boy, is that stuff expensive.

Just some guy. I can't remember his name. It's not important, anyway.

I think it was some friend of the Lemon Chill guy. ;)

No, this guy's even less important than the lemon chill guy.

The control sensors(the ones on the launch) for Dragster were purchased through Wolff Bros. Supply in Sandusky. Many other electrical components for Dragster and Maverick were purchased from there. Intamin just specs out what they would like used. They don't supply it all.
