In Retro...not a bad choice :)

4 months ago, I was deciding when to plan our annual trip to CP. Since we live 550 miles away and have alot to do, trying to get all the family members agreed to a date is not an easy task.

Either way, I decided on the 17th, 18th and 19th of May. While it rained and rained and rained, we were NOT without our share of rides.

Everything with the exception of TTD and Raptor was a 10 minute wait and yes MF was running smoothly and without interuption.

WT was a walk-on, unless you wanted back or front car. In that case, 3 minutes.....tops.

Magnum...walk-on, Skyhawk..Walk-on, then wait 5 minutes to load....lol.

Mean Streak...walk-on (what did you expect).

Raptor, 15 minutes, most times 30.....everyone loves Raptor :)

MF..as a guest of the Breakers Suites, we got to ride MF 3-5 times on Thursday and 3-5 times on Friday before 10:30 AM. Eventually, I rode MF 21 times in my 2 1/2 days at the rainy point, but at least it was open.

I was considering the 24th, 25th and 26th, and MF has been down :( all that time. I think I made the right choice.

wow. nice planning, lol. I whenever I got to CedarPoint I always end up waiting 1-3hours for the big rides

If you go during the non-peak-season you don't wait that long.

Ill try and squeeze this in here When do the majority of ohio schools get off? I asked this earlier but didnt really get a response. Thanks in advance.

Most of the grade schools and high schools (excluding seniors) are finished around June 8. The seniors typically get out a few weeks prior.

Believe us, we understand. We've been on it numerous times, and each time, we look at each other and say we'll never wait again. It's a TERRIBLY long load time. No question that it will get better, but as for the present time, it's not worth it to us.

It wasn't bad when I was there last Wednesday. They were running a little over three minutes from clear to clear. I rode it six times, walked right onto the numbers three times in a row.
