I will be going to the Point and plan on riding TTD which based on what I've been reading will be an awesome experience, but still, I would rather ride a bigger version of Millie any day. Less Problems !!!!!!!!!!
Any Thoughts?
And for some reason, you seem to have forgotten that it's still early in the season. Let them work on the bugs, yep I'm going to go into the same old thing everyone has said a million times, "It's a new prototype Roller Coaster" give it time.
I'd take a TTD over a bigger MF any day.

PS: Who's the wise guy that changed the name of my post calling it (and myself for that matter) stupid ? Why don't you try to come up with a topic or do you find talking about the WebCam more appealing?
Jeff, I think this topic needs to be closed. It is already turning into a flame war.

On this topic, I said before they announced TTD and while it was being built that I would have rather CP spent less money and put in a good wood coaster. CP has 3 great steel coasters already, they even have a decent launch coaster in WT as of last year. What CP is lacking the most is a good wooden coaster. They could have spent 10 million and had a world class ride that would have most likely been super reliable.
That being said, I dont really fault CP for building Dragster. Marketing wise it is a good move in theory. Also there is the maitenance nightmare that is Mean Streak that is probebly also causing them to shy away from a new wood coaster as well. I think they may have gone to big to fast though with Dragster and that is why the current problems exist. I'am certainly not complaining anytime a park builds a new coaster either. All I'am saying is that I would have preferred a good world class reliable wooden coaster over Dragster. Then again, I havent been on Dragster yet so maybe I would change my mind on that after riding it. I cant tell you for sure because I cant ride Dragster. Hopefully this year I will get a shot. I think I will have one more trip, late in the year. Hopefully they have the "bugs" worked out by then. Then again most of you here had predicted they would be worked out after Memorial Day. I guess not.
Do you think Cedar Point will deal with Intamin AG after building the last 3 coasters at the Point? They have all had their fair share of major problems; however, they deliver.
If I was to guess, I'd say we probably won't see Intamin in the park for the next attraction. Your thoughts?

"I need a yes or no answer to this, how many people get into Yale each year?"
"No"

On that note, I hate the removal of the train themeing. That just pisses me off. The train themeing was what made TTD a real dragster. Now it's just another lame attempt of CP themeing that proves once again that CP sucks at theme.
But for the next coaster,I want it to take time to get through, something Xtreme. Something thrilling, yet it offers the elements of coasters of the past.

Life has it's ups and downs, might as well make it on a coaster!
And the addition that he made is perfect for your post.

Things to do in the summer:
Go to the Zoo.
Check out NEW amusement parks.
Go to the beach.
Walk around a park.
Go rollerblading, hiking, fly a kite.
Grab your camera and take some pictures.
Take a drive through the countryside.
Point is there is more to the summer than TTD and CP, do what I did and find out what you are missing! By the time you find some new things to do in the summer, TTD will be running better than ever!
