A while back Cedar Fair announced their new in-house television network. Any information as to what exactly this will include? Will it be at all the parks? And when exactly is it being implemented? What will be shown on them?
I'd imagine it'll be ready on opening day. I know Canada's Wonderland had it last year and I know Carowinds is getting it as well this year.

Sadly the question was never asked during the event last week...Guess Geauga Lake was more important..
Ah well, good question though I didn't even think to ask about this myself though, hopefully we get some new news maybe here or via FB/etc.

I think it will be implemented at all parks in time for their opening this spring. It sounds like the TVs are designed to encourage guest spending on money-makers like Fast Lane, restaurants, and Dinosaurs Alive. It will also inform guests of park offerings like live entertainment and provide ad space for park sponsors. Additionally, the network is promised to somehow entertain guests. More information was probably released in the third quarter earnings conference call. I listened to that call but forgot a lot of the information. Hopefully that helped.

They played music videos on the ones at Canada's Wonderland. Anyone remember the TV in Maverick's line? I forget what they used it for.

The Maverick TV just mainly played a loop of the construction of the ride. If I remember, it also reminded you to get your ride picture and maybe something else. That was about it.

Can someone please explain to me what "in-house television" is? I've been trying to look it up but I can't get an answer. Is this like a CP TV "channel" or something (like they do in fancy hotel rooms when you first arrive)?
