All of those CD's equal out to about 509 tracks. It takes me about 2 and a half weeks to listen to all of those CD'S.
Since I work there this is what I do. I listen to one CD on the way to work. Then on the way home I listen to the next CD. (Note: The White Album, Anthology 1,2, and 3, Live at the BBC, and 1 takes one entire day to listen to. Round trip. Since these CD's have about 60 plus minutes of tracks on them.)

I usually just listen to the radio.. depending on what mood I'm in. I usually make the 2 1/2 hour trip alone, so I listen to pretty much anything from country to pop to r&b to classical to oldies to metal..... I think you get my drift.

Plain and simple.. As I pass the Citgo station on Route 2 just outside Oregon, it's ALWAYS Rush "The SPirit of Radio".
After that it's a mix of 80's hair bands, personal recordings, White/Rob Zombie, BLue Man Group, and finally, as I approach the causeway. A little Rammstein to get the blood going.
Of course, leaving the park is different, usually "Lowrider" or "Big Pimpin'" ;)
(sorry folks.. inside joke)

For the rap, I've always got Nelly/St. Lunatics (It's a midwest swing, y'all!).
And then there's the numerous mixes... including songs made with Acid and the like...
edit: I couldn't help putting in a few lyrics

Funny you say that... I go to school with the lead singers son. :)
Well anyway, I usually listen to Nirvana, 311, Anti-Flag, Doors, Zepplin, or some Sir Mix-a-Lot. :) The more upbeat stuff comes on the way there, and the quieter stuff for the way home.
