Im scared but told my friend i would go on it

I need tips not to be scared he said if he let me go i would have to go on it i said okay

Are you scared of heights? If you are, look at the floor of the train on the way up the hill. Once at the top, and the train gets going, you will be fine. The ride is very smooth and fun. Enjoy it, you will have a blast and feel like you just conquered the world at the end of the ride.

its kind of weird though i mean the highest ive been on is 137 feet (raptor)

My friend has been on it all 4 times with me, but he still doesn't like going up the lift. He says his remedy is to stare out at Lake Erie.

Oh god, dont stare at Lake Erie, that's when you'll realize how high up you are. I did, especially sitting on the left side of the train. It's freaky.

I'm scared of heights (love MF, though). Power Tower bothers me, as does Drop Zone at PKI. When I rode that, I stared directly at the horizon line. Not above it, not below it. That helped me a lot.

Hey! That's smart. The horizon won't change, so you won't really know how far up you've gone. Me, I like the feeling, so I look UP. Definitely DO NOT do this if you're scared of heights, esp. on rides like the Power Tower.

Yeah, look at the little Intamin Giga Coaster Car number thing on the way up, and then just think of the rest of the ride as a really fast ending helix on Raptor, but 50x more fun! Believe me, you'll like it if you liked Raptor! It is a fun ride, not an extreme one like people make it out to be.

I found out when I waited in line was that the people who were scared were the people who did not know anyhting about the MF besides the the 10 records it broke. Also did not fallow the building of the MF.

Perhaps you should start w/ something a little smaller, such as Magnum. Ride that, then head to the force.

Yeah that sounds like the best idea, because it will probably the shortest wait. The morning, or right before the park closes are the best times.

No. Don't build up. I hate it when people make MF seem like it's some monster. It's a roller coaster. You'll be scared/anxious no matter what until you get off. The bottom line is you'll be fine and you will have had a great time. MF is one of the most rider-friendly rides I've been on. IN the newspaper, they wrote an article about it in which a 9 year old girl was supposed to give her opinion, and she loved it. She rode it 10 times in one day. (media day I'm assuming) Now if she can do it, you'll be fine. Challenge yourself! Look down! Put your hands up! It'll make the story all the more gratifying when you get off. :)
