Illusionist: Aaron Radatz

Has anyone else caught the magic show this year? I thought it was much better than last years, in fact, [spoiler alert] he pretty much stumped me on the finale, where he disappears behind a screen and then appears in the rear of the theater. Anyone figure this one out? I think I have most of the other tricks, er, illusions figured out.

I was disappointed in the last trick. In the show that we saw, he started and ended in a seat in the middle of the theatre - right on the aisle. Well, just before the end, I saw him running back down the aisle (no, I wasn't looking - it was just obvious, even in the dark). So, I suppose the trick involves aerobic conditioning :)

I thought he was pretty good overall. Better than last year's show. But just like last year, the illusions were somewhat ordinary and pretty easy to figure out. Not that I could pull them off myself - there is a lot of talent involved there. But I guess I like to leave a magic act wondering "How'd he do that??"

Oh well, the show is light years better than that garbage magic act I saw at SFO earlier this year.

I was just checking out his web site and noticed this:

"Join Aaron Radatz as he uses his magic in a whole new way, with one of the world's tallest and fastest roller coasters. Watch as Aaron takes 36 random roller coaster fanatics on a 'Ride of A Lifetime'. Eighteen of the riders will remain on the ride. Eighteen will disappear at one of the coasters fastest speeds. Where will the riders reappear? Stay tuned to this website for more information. You may even win a seat on Aaron Radatz's 'Ride of A Lifetime'."

Sound like any coaster you know?

That would be awesome publicity for MF, but I'd rather be one of the people that stay on the ride. Why wait in line just to get magically transported off? LOL!
So for the last trick he runs down the aisle and sits in the reserved seat? I watched closely, thought I did anyway, and didn't see him, does he craw on the floor?

Anyway I really liked the show, the trick with the bottled water and the brown paper bag was awesome.
Anybody know if some of the audience volunteers are actor(esses)
