If you could change a ride...

If you could change a ride at CP, what would you do to it? i would add two more airtime hills to Millennium Force. I would put one right after the drop and move the first overbanked turn back to almost Maverick then have another one coming back to the tunnel.

I always thought that would make that ride 10x better. I would get rid of the vibrations on GateKeeper.

Mean Streak- that's a given, ad nauseam.

Hopefully they're working on Gatekeeper's restraints, especially for ERT Friday!

Others have mentioned this, but Mantis trains replaced by floorless. Then change the name and colors.

I would like to see Corkscrew longer and more smooth. I would also like to see it's surrounding location more beautified.

I like the idea, but maintaining enough speed to finish the track would be a problem. Adding 50 ft to the first drop might fix it!

I would change the restraints on BlueStreak back to what they used to be. It was a much better ride experience and I think they were perfectly adequate for the coaster's size and speed.

^ Remind me. What were the old restraints like again?

There was one seatbelt per seat that went across both riders and a bar similar to those on Ocean Motion but deeper/wider. The bar was even with the top of the train, there was no back head support but the sides and back of the seats were nicely padded. That was also before they added the modern brakes so the operator had to pull a giant wooden lever to stop the train in the station. If you look at the wooden platform on the left as you leave the station you can see the levers were used in the construction of the platform. The ends are wrapped in black tape.

Put the heartline roll back into Maverick. Stretch it out, elevate it, whatever needed to happen to put less stress on the trains.

Every time I ride over that 'super-exciting' s-curve, I think of what could have been...

This Isn't A Hospital--It's An Insane Asylum!

I thought about this when they built Maverick. What if they built a coaster with the intent of pulling a few pieces out and adding to it. Maybe even reuse the pieces they pull out. Wouldn't it be neat if the coaster had a 5 year plan. Everyone should know where their gonna be in 5 years. So why shouldn't a modern coaster.

The 5th year they could add a new station into it and it could move people from the front to the back. Same as the skyride. The first 7 minute roller coaster isn't going to be built in 18 months. They could turn Wicked Twister into an awesome ride if they added another station at the back of the park and linked them together by altering the track. They'd have to rename it Disaster Transport though, since you'd be leaving everyone who won't ride with you behind.

blue streak back in the 80's just a lap bar that was about 6 inches above your lap, no seat belt and no head rests! also the most comfortable seats on any coaster!! talk about airtime!!!

Absolutely agree about the Blue Streak changes! And I forgot about the hand brake. That was awesome....

Also, more speed or lift on Gatekeeper. The 2nd half of the ride pales in comparison to the first half.
