Up!
Parks been to: IOA, USF, MK, Epcot, BGW, Opryland, SFOG, SFKK
Going to CP in June!!
i think it'd be that song "i can drive 55" (idk if thats the name or not but thats what i call it) because TTD goes like 55 mph faster then the turnpike speed limit
Another 2 year old topic being brought back eh?.....Oh well.
I'll say I cant Drive 55, Hot Rod Lincoln, and Ready to GO since they're already played at Dragster. But I would also have to say Fuel and RPM since they fit Dragster's theme pretty well.

Quoted for... agreement I guess =P
The only song that really makes me think of Top Thrill is Republica's Ready to Go, for obvious reasons. A couple metal songs with fast drumming would work, but I think Ready to Go gets the job done greatly.
2008 - Games (Area 3/Scales)
2009 - Games Supervisor
2010 - Season pass holder.
I can hardly believe I didn't bring this up before...
When I did my Dragster video, the Beach Boys classic single, "Shut Down" seemed the obvious choice, for so many reasons... :)

If Millennium Force had a theme song what would it be??? I would say "Hearts on Fire" from the Rocky Soundtrack.
That "shut Down video" is a good one. Very funny how it had shown some video of Dragster down......fits the name of the song well. :)
Good job RideMan. *** Edited 7/3/2005 5:53:49 AM UTC by TTD 120mph***

That's an awesome video! I like how you have shots of it when it still had the tires/spoiler setup, haha...
Was that a real rollback, or did you just reverse the tape?

That was a real rollback.
Everything in that video was shot during the 2003 season...most of it during the early part of the 2003 season, including some material shot on the media preview day, when the trains were missing their second cars. I think I had the editing done before they added the extra seats to the last car.
Oh, and apart from the obvious (fades, keys, audio mixes, and one shot with the camera turned sideways) the only effects I used were to take some of the stuff I shot in 4:3 and blow it up to 125% then crop it to fit the 16:9 frame. That was probably about a third of the total footage; and of course *you* don't notice the loss of resolution because what you're watching on the Web is then resized to 50% and compressed to MPEG-4 for "broadcast".
Now that I have satisfied both of the video geeks and confused everybody else...glad you liked it! :)

I'd really like to hear Mission Impossible in the queue. I think that would be sweet. Since that's Paramounts I doubt Cedar Point would get copyright to it. They could make it sound like it, and call it Mission Race.
I always thought that Ready Steady Go - Paul Oakenfold would be a great song to go with it. They could even have the launch synced to music, where it launches when it says "Go" :)
