If space was an issue....

Yesterday I stated I was disappointed that there wasn't much to this ride. Many of you replied that there wasn't any space for additional elements(overbanked turns for ex.). Well what about a record breaking (height) loop after coming down the tophat; or two consecutive loops for that matter. NO additional space would've been needed for that!!!!! and I don't wanna hear anything bout the ride needing OTSR cause Son of Beast doesn't have them!!
Again, I agree but I'm sure everyone else will get all defensive again and this thread will be closed because no one wants to take the time to listen to anyone's opinion but their own.
No...I believe the thread will be closed because this has been whined about over and over and over by the same people who can't appreciate a ride for what is HAS. Grow up.

see what i mean...."WAHHH WAHHH WAHHH! I'm right, your wrong. I'm an old fart so I can say whatever I want"....Thanks for proving me right yet again oldCPer.

I never said I didn't appreciate the ride, I can't wait to ride it. I just wish they didn't wast all that speed by going directly into a break run.

I hope oldcper isn't TOO old......people with bad hearts shouldn't be riding this ride!!!!!!!
Glad to oblidge. I just don't understand why you have to keep crying about what you aren't getting like some disappointed little kid if you DO appreciate the ride.

I also don't understand why banned youngsters keep coming back.

Kind of funny though.....my first trip to CP was when I was about 8 yrs old........I was terrified to go on Corkscrew and my father made me go on it............now CP can't scare me enough........I WAN'T MORE!!!!!!!!!!
The only major coaster there my first trip (1966) was Blue Streak. And I wouldn't ride it. The first coaster I actually rode and liked was CCMR which was built a few years later. It was 1970 before I rode BS at the urging of my boyfriend and that began my coaster enthusiasm.

BTW, I may be old, but my heart is healthy (and back, and neck, etc). I'll be riding coasters as long as I can still walk.
And afterwards as well because I hope to have my ashes spread all over the point.

But you dont see loops on Giga coasters...

some rides are built for inversions, some are built for speed and height.

To tell you the truth, swigletto, it was going to set the world record for inversions (inverted tophat, vertical loop, immelman, inline twist at 320' elevation, drop into a cobra roll, six inline twists on the return run into a final dive loop) but they shortened it just because they knew it would piss you off. Yes, you personally.

In fact, two years ago (when pitching the concept to the board) the Planning Department had a photo of your infuriated face on one of the PowerPoint transparencies. Lee Jewett couldn't even finish the presentation, he was doubled over laughing so hard.

Speaking of doubled over laughing...score another one for Playa.
A 380 foot vertical loop would be pretty cool.
