Everytime I've been to the ICEE Mix It Up place, most of the flavors never work, or they run out of the flavor and then the machine doesn't work.
Has there ever been a day where they haven't been run out or broken..?
So stoked for 2010 :]

I never bought one because they were something like $6.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
^agreed. Ice water for me. At the low rate of $0.00
However I saw the icee thing one day, and it looked like at least most of the flavors were stocked. But this was in a hot Saturday in mid-to-late July.

ive gotten it once, and it worked for me, the cool thing is you keep your cup and re-fill for like $3.
10 TL Gemini/Fireman on CP & LE RR
09 TL SkyHawk/TL Meanstreak
08 TL Mine Ride
07-Maverick, Mine Ride, Antique Cars, and everywhere else in zone 4
I usually do drink water but I wanted to get an ICEE for 2 1/2 hour drive home...It keeps me occupied while I'm sitting in the car. But the last two times I got one, NONE of the machines worked.
So stoked for 2010 :]

I Never had an issue, they were even fully stocked during October. Mmm Orange, grape and watermelon for me please.
Shoot the rapids, tame and dry. Thunder Canyon, wet and laughter. Snake River Falls, soaked and smiling. White Water Landing and the old shoot the rapids, Fun and missed.

There are 7-11's and gas stations with Slush Puppie machines enroute.... Those are .79 I believe...
Agreed.
Speedway has a machine with slushies for under a buck.

Knowing the cleanliness of the food stands... I would think that Speedway may be more hygenic, (as crazy as that sounds)
7-11 SLURPEES! haha those are the best!

Nice lead into a good Pauly Shore Reference from Encino Man. "NO WEEZING THE JUICE!" or something like that.

I never bought one up at the Point! I usually stop at the Speedway on the way home!
Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs
Not only is Speedway cheap, if you have the rewards card, you get every 7th drink free. :)
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
Those icee mix ups sound about as appetizing as filling a cup with things from the condiments bar.

To all the people who have posted to this topic.
Can you please tell me where (city, state & venue) you saw the Slush Puppie Mix It Up concession stands.
Thank you!
^ Speedway on 250, Sandusky Ohio. Add your own flavor to pop, or slushee.
Also in Royal Oak, Michigan at both speedways on 12 mile.
Most 7-11's also invite you to make your own flavor. Not quite to Cedar Points standards, but you know, $6 less.
I think most if not all Speedways have the thing where you can add flavoring. All summer they've had any size fountain or frozen drink for 89 cents (I remember the days when they were 69 cents all summer) and if you have a rewards card, every 7th drink is free.
I had no idea we were that close, DJ.
12 & Campbell - 12 & Rochester. Both have the flavor machines connected to the soda machines. The bummer part is both only have a slushee machine that supports two flavors. So for one week you get Coke & Cherry, the next you get Coke and plain ice to add flavor.

I like to mix the purple and red flavors (don't know their official names). 42oz (or 44oz if they have the styrofoam cup) for $0.89 + Tax. Now that is a great deal. The ones in the park look like they are less than 20oz.
Four discount funday tickets to Cedar Point: $130.96
Overnight stay at Breakers Express: $70
Riding rides the size of skyscrapers while "legally" breaking the local speed limit: Priceless
