I posted to see if there was a way to get one from CP and they apparently ignored the post. I'd so hoped to win won to go next to the 2003 one I got on closing day a couple years ago.

I like how they call it "rare". I've gotten two 03's, an 04, 05, and getting an 06 soon with no effort. I guess it's not so hard to come across when you know the right people with the right ties to the park. Except for the 05 one, I just got that at guest services when they were giving them away at the end of the year.

eBay sellers are funny. A few months ago I saw a CedarPoint-opoly listed as "rare" in an auction. I e-mailed the seller and asked him what made it rare since you could buy it not only at the park, but also on their web site. He said there were no other CedarPoint-opoly auctions at the time and that made it "rare."

Buyer beware indeed!

There was a TTD bucket and the in the listing it stated "when the ride opened in 1992..." all because he saw a code in the plastic on the bottom that said someing with the number 92 in it. I messaged him but he never changed it.

And Adam... don't go posting those links around here!!! That poster is going to be mine. ;)
