Hey. well my name is Teresa. I've been to cp twice and i want to go on may again this season. Problem is I'm going alone and I'm only 18. So if anyone's planning a trip to cp early this season and wouldnt be bothered to have an extra coaster fan, let me know. thanks.

I hear GregLeg's free!

Perhaps an online photo will help you find friends to visit CP with. Got a link?

In the enthusiast community there is a disproportional amount of male enthusiasts versus female enthusiasts. Additionally, those few females tend to find themselves with many 'enthusiastic' fans. I'm sure any one of them can share a story or two.

So, because you are a female posting a request for people to go to the park with, you are likely to find yourself inundated with e-mail from many people - some of who may scare you. :)

FYI I'm a married man of 13 years (click on my name for a photo next to one of my two daughters) and perhaps everyone but you knows I'm pulling your leg.

Wait, no I'm not! I'm giving you a hard time while keeping my hands by my sides where they belong. No pulling anything. Bad 'Playa. Bad.

I would suggest going when a small group (like 3 or 4 others) is heading up. Check back here in May, and I'm sure you'll find plenty of poeple going.

No offense! But I personally would find it to be extremely creepy to go to Cedar Point with people I dont know. You dont have one single friend who could accompany you on your journey. Good Luck! Be Careful!

Hun, I understand totally, I think the only concerns here are that you'd wind up with a creep, but Cedar Point is a safe place, just don't leave the park with whoever you meet up with. I am a college student who plans to get a season pass for this year, and may not always have friends wanting to venture the 4 hours from here to the park. How much notice would you need to meet me at the park one day? I'm always glad to meet another coaster enthusiast and I know the park like the FRONT of my hand, forget that back of the hand stuff.

I'm a married woman (22 years), and have a 16 (soon to be 17) year old son. We make trips to the Point several times a year (season passes), and will likely make at least 2 or 3 trips in May.

Not ALL of the males here are of the "stalking" variety. Since my son and husband don't always want to go when I do, I will check the meeting calendar here and at Coasterbuzz, and can generally find some nice folks to hang with.

Methinks the 'friend' request here meant 'friend with car and maybe gas money', no?

CostaPlaya, I think I'm the only person who has used the word "friend" in this conversation, so to answer your question, No, "friend" means a person from school who is willing to take off work and miss classes to ride with me to CP. I have a car as well as gas money. No worries, I'm just a friendly southern girl wanting to help someone out. Besides, I hope everyone here would be smart enough not to hop in a car with a stranger, because they 'said' they would take them to an amusement park. That's just scary.

Sorry, I was out of the 'careful thread study' mode and in 'being silly' mode (if you couldn't already tell). The question was indeed directed to MasterYossarian.

My name's teresa actually.. I know Cedar Point like the "FRONT" of my hand as well lol I love it. Problem is I live in Puerto Rico. not a lot of people are willing to take two airplanes and then drive for an hour or two just to ride some roller coasters. pity, eh?

I'd imagine the airport security would be all over you for the car in your bags...

If you don't mind hanging out with a bunch of geeks, gimme an email and all that good stuff.
