I need Pennies

My wife and I want to get all the Cedar Point pennies. You know, the ones where you pay 51 cents to get a commemorative penny. Anyway, we don't really want to look in every nook and cranny for the machines and we want to know for sure how many 51 cents's to take so I was hoping you guys could help me out with a list of all the different penny machines locations and if possible what pennies are at each. I know that you can buy a collectors album for like 6.95 as well. I don't have that yet though, so if this info is in there I will just go get it and look.

I saw a guy have a Magnum penny when he was getting change out where I live. I was about to offer him some money for it. It was still really shiny, and he said he got it many years ago...I'm surprised it's still in his wallet!.

Let me tell ya' about the squished pennies... There are a LOT of them. Each machine presses three different types and there are a bunch of machines scattered throughout the park. These machines are also moved around quite a bit too! A little side note too, CP is now selling a nifty little trifold holder for all the pennies you have and in the very front of the folder is a collectors penny. I started collecting these things this year and if I wasn't in the middle of moving to my new house, I'd unpack that folder and tell you exactly how many I have.

"How do you own disorder?"

I was collecting CP pennies and glueing them to zippo lighters so they would not get lost. A few weeks ago, I found that the gift shops not only have zippo lighers for each of the coasters, but they also now have a penny collecting case. A must have for organizing all of your pressed pennies...;)

To do a little update on the squished pennies topic, CP now has a new machine that makes tokens for TTD. The machine is located at the shop across from TTD itself. And BTW, does anybody know if there is a machine that makes a penny for WT? If so, where is it at?

Go to guest services or town hall, (park op is too busy) and ask them to check the information manual. That book has a listing of all the penny crushers. Or you can call the cp info line and they can tell you.

Well I have 28 different CP pennies. I have collected them over the years, mainly because I didnt like carrying change around the park. I know some of them are not in the machines anymore. So my guess would be to take about 25 pennies. Also, check out the speed zone, along with the other thousand cool things in there, they have 3 new pennies.
