And I really like the way CP is promoting her anniversary,
BUT
I really wish they would do something to celebrate Mine Train's 40th
and Blue Streak's 45th anniversaries.
Other then a brief mention by the ride ops, nothing. My wife and I figured
they would at least put a banner at their entrances or in the stations.
First off, if they did do something I hope they would at least call it the Mine Ride... And I'm guessing they'll wait till the 50th anniversaries for both of these smaller rides if they're going to do anything.

With all due respect, Magnum is a roller coaster icon that deserves to be celebrated. It was the fastest, highest, and started the coaster wars of the '90s. Blue Streak and Mine Ride are notable, but in all honesty, are not of Magnum's caliber.

I don't disagree that Magnum is an icon that desreves
the lion's share of the attention.I just think some
acknowledgement of the other 2 rides like a banner at their
entrances or in the stations would have been nice.
While Magnum was the ride that started the coaster wars,
mine rides were where a lot of elements of the later
steel coasters were first starting to appear.
You have to draw the line somewhere. There has to be a reason other than its age ends in five or zero.
I could see something at 50 years, though.
Im sure Woodstock Express is feeling pretty ignored for it's 10th anniversary ;)

^^50 years is very fair. Why celebrate Blue Streak's 45th when you can celebrate it's 50th and then not worry about it for another 25 years ;)
