Over $820 for 4 passes with fast pass plus for Sunday. Mother of God.
Been to CP well over 200 times over the years but first time FP holder.
Can't wait!
Get a cabin for 7 days and then find out what cringing is...
I usually wait till December to figure out what I drop at CP over the summer, its pretty bad well into the 5 digits.
Surf lounge is my weakness.
If you really want to see money change hands, go hang out at the Marina. I spent some time there getting my fishing licenses, the money for overnight stays and fuel are insane ($65 for a plug adapter, 100s gallons of premium fuel). Just think American Express Centurion card.

Dang!!
I'm going to KI Sunday July 16th and buying FL+. First time I've done that. I've gotten it free with PP renewal the last few years, of course.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
Someone told me once that boats and campers will provide you with 2 of the happiest days of your life; the day you buy one, and the day you sell it.
So far I disagree about the camper and I kinda want to find out about the boat.
ROUNDABOUND.
Would they allow me to dock my vessel (below) at the Marina?
It's all I can afford. :I

I've officially hit the no more paychecks until next school year mark so I expect to buy PB&J and Gatorade for the cooler and gas for the trip. Maybe if I'm feeling really loose with the cash I'll get a funnel cake or two at some point.
WOW..that's a lot of $$ for all that, but 'fast pass' won't do any good at CP, as its Fast Lane( or Fast Lane Plus) at Cedar Point( but most know what you mean). This holiday weekend will be busy regardless, so any 'special line entry point' will be useless IMO. My best bet would be utilize early entry if you get the opportunity.
Keep passing the fun along!
Be a normal human being and enjoy yourself and your stay, sleep well party hard. Early entry is for amateurs, the last five hours of the day is where the action is at. You can ride everything in the park, and multiple times if you want, and not have to wait in a single line over 20 minutes.
On the other hand, if you like waiting in long lines in blistering sunshine, get up early and do 'early entry' and get 2 rides in before the park opens... or rest up and enjoy the beach or waterpark first.

You must have had poor experience with early entry. Just did same this morning. Rode Valravn, Millennium, Maverick, Magnum, TTD, and Gatekeeper. Everything was a walk on with the exception of TTD which we waited 22 minutes. In at 9, out before noon and had time for a prepaid meal. Overall great day today. We do this frequently.
I did early entry today. Rode Valravn, Millennium, Maverick, Gatekeeper and Millennium again and I was back at the boat by 10:30. My longest wait was maybe 5 mins. Amateur no, efficient, yes.

Exactly! Very efficient indeed. Not that I don't like cedar point at night I definitely do, especially with an adult beverage. But early entry is the most efficient means to ride a lot in a short period of time.
My two favorite things about early entry are the playing of God Bless America and the national anthem. Other than that I'm a night owl and love the late nights at the park.
Late night at the park is really great under the new management team, we usually end the day closing Surf Lounge or TGIF. After that we will enjoy our souvenir cup beverages walking the boardwalk to the pier on the bay until sunrise, sitting under windseeker or at the fire pits watching the sun rise is really beautiful.

I am generally not a morning person so I get limited use of early entry. I do it a few times each year but not much.
I love the late nights at the park as well. In fact, making my previous post on here about same prompted me to book a room for tomorrow night to do just that. I don't expect to ride too much because I expect crowds to be just as bad as what I saw on my way out earlier today but either way it will be cool to be at the park over July 4th weekend for the first time in years. I typically avoid busy season like the plague. But I have these extra days off work and I'm taking advantage.
All this Marina talk makes me want a boat again. However, I keep looking and finding out that every inclination leads me to believe it'll just be a money pit for a minor bit of entertainment (I wouldn't have the opportunities to head to the lake or any lake for that matter in enough time for the season to enjoy it). So I guess I'll stick to buying nice hotel rooms and enjoying the lake view, that is until I can bribe one of y'all with keg beer to go out on the water with you ;)
