Well, in 2000, CP cared about those records. They marketed MF as having the steepest non-inverted turn.
If they can claim some sort of record, even if they have to make it up themselves, they'll do it as long as it is something that can boost the percieved market value of the ride (read, make people think this ride alone is worth paying $40 for admission) in addition to whatever else they may use to catch people's attention. Now, can anyone tell me what utility a record adds to the coaster (place, form, possesion, information are the utilities you have to choose from) Yes, I'm taking marketing right now, and I feel like using the little bit that we've done so far to try to make myslef look halfway smart. ;) My guess is that it's not working. *** Edited 8/30/2006 2:34:48 AM UTC by BlueStreak64***

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

I bet this is possible on RCT! I know when I develop coasters...that's the best part..see how many people you can make sick. :)

He doesn't know if it is fact or not, but most of the evidence has pointed in that direction. Namely the arrival of track that has been used in LIM launches in the past.
Compare some of the track from Project 2007: http://www.pointbuzz.com/Gallery.aspx?a=499 and http://www.pointbuzz.com/Gallery.aspx?i=4920 with track from Wicked Twister: http://www.pointbuzz.com/Gallery.aspx?i=1277.
If you removed the LIM modules from WT's track, the track would look somewhat similiar. Hydraulic lift can be ruled out THUS FAR. http://www.pointbuzz.com/Gallery.aspx?i=1263 I haven't seen any evidence of track with catchwagon subtrack. This track looks also out of the running for eddy-current magnetic brake track.
