Does anyone know how deep the fondation is, for the Power Tower? Also how long did it take for them to build it? I rember them starting in late summer or early fall but when did they finish? Thank You!!
Hmmm...One of the guys from the PT crew had mentioned some stats about PT a while back. While I'm not certain, I believe that right below the four towers is a large housing for the air compressors so think of yourself as standing on the top of roof while waiting to board. Footer depth--well uhh--to the bed rock and then some...

Or if you are that bored goto the S&S site http://www.s-spower.com/ and read up. Also you could ask them stuff like I did and they actually do reply!
Hey Dave if I am not mistaken the the four air compressors are located undernieth the Corkscrew break run. If Steve H.is out there and you are reading this post a link to your site, becuase he has pictures of them. Speaking of PT, has anyone been in the park late after closing and hear them releasing all of the air in the system? Its pretty cool to hear.

I've been in the park to hear them purge the system quite a few times. But, you might have guessed that already Dan. ;) And yes, all four air compressors are located under the 'screw's brake run in addition to our maintenance shed (where we retreat when the thunder boomers come). See ya May 7th!
