"The greatest leaders don't take credit for their actions; they don't have to."
A young employie at Hotel Breakers, also a victom of the Breaker Caper, Is afraid of everything. No one knows why- but her. She never talks, and never smiles. She wont go near the ghosts balcony either. Her boss, manager Talon is suspicioius and worried about mysterious mishaps going on around hotel breakers, not having any relation to the Breaker Caper. Guests have been complaining of odd notes left in their rooms saying things such as "Get out while you still can" And "leave now before its too late" in their rooms when the return from the park. Everyone suspects that it is a ghost, but few realize that a ghost such as this wouldnt warn anyone, nor go outside its haunting territory. No one suspects the mysterious silent maid.. the maid who trys to warn guests to leave the hotel. For their own saftey.
Now in 2003 a another young couple such as his will journey to Cedar Point, and stay at Breakers Hotel. Strangly enough, the girl in this couple remarkably looks like the girl of the breaker caper. Any way, this young couple thought it would be fun to have a little summer outing to the worlds greatest amuesment park- scince the girls brother never stops talking about it. The girls brother is, annoying, and ... some people would say odd. He loves roller coasters, and even built a model rollercoaster, took a picture and asked his sis to bring it to cedar point to show the employies. She didnt listen though. But back to the ocuple, they were pretty young, the same age in fact as the breaker caper was when he died.. Bored one night, the couple started to walk around the hotel, exploring, scince neither have been their before, and niether know that much about it. But lurking in the shadows of the bushes outside the balcony, still angry at his old girlfriend, is the breaker caper, looking for a young women to pull over with him. Meanwhile, the young (and alive) couple find a balcony, but not just any balcony, the breaker capers. HIS balcony, HIS spot to haunt. The girl leans on the railing and the boy leans in for a kiss, the breaker caper sneaks up to the balcony. While the couple laugh and kiss the girl thinks her boyfriend is playing when she feels herself going over the edge. But hes not. She suddenly realizes that her boyfriend is trying to help her get up and she cant move, she feels herself being pulled to the ground, but she cant see anything, all she knows is when she hits the ground its over for her. Then she sees him. Big, Round evil eyes, glaring into hers. She is frightened. She screams for help, but no words come out of her mouth. Her boyfriend over powers the ghost and brings his girlfriend to saftey. But the Breaker Caper insists on her coming down with him. As the fighting goes on, the screams, the crys, the glares, who will win this fight?

July 8, 1913
Sandusky, OH
There was a boy, not too tall, and not too short. His name was Alex. He had big, brown eyes, a gentle voice, and he loved a girl. This girl was petite and very, very sweet. She had a soft innocent voice. Her name was Marie. She also had dark eyes, and short dark hair, and she loved the boy. But no matter how much they loved each other, they knew that their families would somehow tear them apart. They feared that thought. They never knew what to do about it, so they went on, secretly meeting. But still their parents wouldn’t accept the fact that they we meant to be together forever, alive or not. One day Alex took him and Marie on a perfect vacation get-away at Cedar Point. They stayed at Hotel Breakers. Hotel Breakers was really new to them, since it had only been built 8 years ago. When they first arrived there were magicians in the lobby performing fascinating card tricks to entertain the guests while they waited for their rooms. Hotel Breakers had 600 rooms back then, and all of them had running water. That was very unheard of in the early 1900s. One hundred of those rooms also had baths, which was even more unique. When Alex and Marie finally got their room they went up to it, put their stuff down and started to look around the hotel to see what it had to offer. Their room was very nice, it was bigger than they thought, and it even had a bath. Outside their room they found that they had a nice little balcony to look off of. Whenever they were bored or lonely, they would go on it to talk. They could see the whole park from that balcony. Although the park was much, much smaller back then, it seemed pretty big. One day while looking off of their balcony, Marie noticed a car that resembled her fathers. Not more than a second after the car pulled into the parking lot did both of Marie’s parents step out of the car and angrily slam the door. Marie slowly turned to Alex, to see a very worried look on his face. They both didn’t know what to do. Soon her parents would be in the hotel looking for them, and when they found them they would take Marie away from Alex forever. That just couldn’t happen though. It just couldn’t. Alex would not let that happen. He knew that they couldn’t get by hiding in their room or on the balcony without being found. To make matters worse, they had already been seen. Quickly thinking, the only idea that could come to Alex’s mind was suicide. As long as he and Marie were together somehow, they’d still be happy. It was gruesome to think about, but he knew that it was the only way. If him and Marie stayed and waited for her parents to come, it would only be a short time until they were split up forever. Yes, now was the time, so they could stay together forever in the heavens. But how? Alex looked around; he didn’t see anything to do the job. Then he realized he was standing on a very tall balcony. If they jumped the right way… they would be dead. Alex told Marie his plan, but she wasn’t too into it. Still she agreed to it, and she also thought that this was the only way. Alex knew all of that but one thing. He didn’t know that Marie was afraid to jump and die, but most importantly afraid to disappoint her parents. She was still questioning in her mind whether she should go with him or not. She had to think quickly because her parents were racing down the halls to her, to take her away from her beloved Alex. As she and Alex climbed to the railing of the balcony, they were getting ready to jump. Alex whispered into Marie’s ear, “I Love you always and forever my Marie,” And without hesitation, they jumped. Holding hands, high into the air they jumped. But right when they jumped Marie realized that she couldn’t do this... she just couldn’t end her life. She let go of Alex’s hand and as fast as she possibly could; reached for the railing of the balcony and clung on as tight as she could. She watched the only man she ever loved, and ever will love fall to his death. She watched how Alex fell into the bushes below, crying, yelling her name. She watched Alex fall, and die. As she worked her way over the railing it all came back to her. Again and again, she never forgot the day that Alex died. She always remembers what he said before they jumped, and always remembers his scream. Alex was dead. And she couldn’t change it. But Alex could. Marie had not died like she was supposed to. And Alex didn’t like that one bit. The only reason that he was supposed to die was that she was coming with him and she didn’t. Because of that Alex is now stuck falling and re-falling off of that balcony. Yes, Alex’s body may be long gone but his spirit still remains waiting for the day his Marie returns. But still he is without his Marie. Since there is no Marie, he tries to pull the women down with him to die and live next to him in eternity, just how the love of his life should have stayed with him forever. Days go by and still few know of him, and even fewer have actually seen him. As the years pass he has pulled few women, but still none have fallen. The more failures he has the more furious he becomes. Years become decades and more and more people have heard of him and felt his presence. Alex now is the Breaker Caper.

Have you seen The Shining? If you haven't rent it, and you can get some very good ideas. If you have, then you may remember this scene (not word for word, but close):
Owner of the hotel dude: "Did (someone's name) happen to tell you about the tragic event that took place in this hotel in the 20's? [Jack shakes his head] A man named Charles Grady was the caretaker, and he seemed like a good man at first. He came to the hotel with his wife and two daughters; very sweet girls indeed...
"But then one point in the middle of the winter, he started to lose his mind. It's what the old-timers call "cabin-fever". It's when you brain doesn't function as well when you are in a point of isolation for a long period of time. [Jack nods head] Anyway, one day, he ran amuck, and, um...chopped his family with an ax. Stored them neatly in the west wing, and then put both barrels of a shotgun in his mouth..."
Anyway, I think you could tell the story like that, possibly with someone reading it or a friend telling them, or maybe the boy wandering and saw suspicious things and decided to ask somebody. And then when the guy was hearing the story they could b-roll it into showing the scene where he jumped, just as the person was narrating it.
Good luck!

What is most anticipated event of 2003? the debut of Dragster, the release of Metallica's new album, the release of Terminator 3, or the release of Matrix:Reloaded...tough call.
I stayed there a year and half ago, and rented The Shining the night after. The hotel's known for it's ghosts, which gave King the idea of writing about it. Lemme tell you, there are DEFINATELY ghosts in that hotel.
I can't say anything about the Breakers though. I stayed there once and didn't see anything. Then again I was far from where I hear these things have happened. Plus my amazing view of Millennium Force out of first-story window pretty much kept me occupied.
