I had a MAVERICK dream!

Don't let it get you down. Most people don't get it the first time around. I certainly didn't. Just get back on your feet and do it again. You'll be surprised how much easier it will be next time. :)

The only hard part in the manuverablility. The actual driving is a joke.

I wasn't allowed to take my driving test unless it was on my Mom's car and she had a standard transmission. That was the most frustrating year of my life but it paid off in the end.

Seems as though parents really do know best now that I can reflect on it. I've only had 15 years to look back.:)

I got a 100 my first time.

I learned a really cool trick that uses your side mirrors and you don't have to look at anything else. I think it only works with small to mid-sized cars.

Back on topic:

I had a dream a while ago. I waited in line forever and woke up before I got to ride.

WORST DREAM EVER!!!!!!

btw, I think very small amounts of water (like those misty fans in the tunnel, even though that would never happen) would be pretty sweet for those extremely hot summer days.

Water will be involved. ;)

Yeah dont give up SFSKnights, you'll get it. I passed mine with ease.....but that was because I went to the easiest driving schools in my area.
MrScott, try not to have any dreams about Maverick, you might end up wetting the bed.;)

I went to get my liscense so I can drive up to CP if my parents let me. I couldn't go this past year.

Hey Adam... I think my son (Master Chief) has decided to make a run for it opening day to try & make first train. I haven't decided if I will join him. I did win at the local hurdle relay back in my junior high days, but that was "a few" years back & I really don't want to spend opening day in the local ER.

SFSKnights, I flunked my 1st pass a long time ago. Means nothing now...don't stress over it; you'll be fine.

The only Cedar Point dream I had was when I was on the main midway and Dragster was moved out onto Lake Erie. Then, a train got stuck at the top, and fell off. It exploded. You know, one of those cheezey fake explosions, like in the original RCT. Really weird.

Good Grief, I don’t want to put you son down or anything but it's going to be impossible to get first train.....even I know that's going to be impossible. My plan is to get there REALLY EARLY and run to Maverick so I can hopefully get a decent spot in line. I know a good number of trains will cycle before I get on. I’m just trying to make getting on easy and avoid the long "coaster opening" wait.

Hey SFSKnights, when i went to take my test for my Class a CDL (what you need in order to dtive a semi-truck), I didn't pass my first time because of nerves. I went back the next day and ACED it!

Well I had another Maverick dream......and yet again it was about me forgetting something. Well ok it was more like everything (the buttons, snacks etc for the meeting) and I ended up making my friend David leave the park and go to a party store to pick up some cupcakes and plates. Needless to say I told him to do it before Maverick opened up, which was a 15 minute time frame.:)

Adam, I'm not entirely sure I'd be advertising these dreams you've been having lately if I were you. They're really starting to scare me... :-)

I've had about three Maverick dreams since Maverick was announced!

Does anyone every have dreams where you fall out of something or fall off something like 50-100s of feet, think you're going to die or something, but you hit the ground and just walk away?

No I have dreams more like where I'm stuck on top of Rollercoasters like Mean Streak, and Iron Dragon. I guess in my dream Me and my girlfriend were riding and we get to the top and it stops. Now here's where it gets interesting. Since we're stuck on rides like Iron Dragon, they undo the OTSR so we can relax. We did more then relaxing. Some people were climbing out of their cars behind us to talk to us just because we had front seat! I guess it was more like, "Can we trade you when the ride starts up again," and I'm like Nah...lol. I had the same type of Dream with Mean Streak, only they let us walk out of our seats and down the stairway. For some dumb reason we waited like 2 and a half hours to ride it again. I guess I had that dream because the night before I was looking at The Beast at Kings Island. :)
