I am new here so I just wanna say hi and give my two cents!

I just wanted to say that I am really excited about this new ride and cedar point is my favorite theme park of all time... If anybody of you have ever seen the show on the Travel Channel called Hidden Secrets of the Great Lakes or something like that...the section on Cedar Point and the Breakers hotel was me and my family doing the shots...

ok I take what's written below here back because ummmm I see that all the floorless coasters are made by B&M so I guess I'm a retard.....

Neways about project 2007 in my honest opinion I believe it will be a floorless coaster breaking the record for most inversions and being the tallest and fastest floorless in the world. Similiar to Six Flags Magic Mountain's Scream coaster...

Thats a great thought. I guess we will have to wait another 8 days to find out. Becarefull what you post. just a friendly warning. These guys will tear you two new ones ;)

I love Monkeys! I love Monkeys!

If it were a BM Coaster you may have a point, but it's Intamin.

Maybe Intamin created a floorless? :)

Welcome! I really like your idea. My only concern would be if the inversions added to the ride's fun, or if they were squished in there to break a record. I've heard some bad things about Colossus crossing the line between fun and nauseating. Irregardless, I'd love to see what Intamin would do with a floorless.

I have never heard of cedar point being a "Theme Park". But welcome to PB anyways. (And That is Not Peanut Butter)

I am such a smart A$$. :)

is it possible for Intamin to make a floorless.... I mean can B&M have a patent on it somehow?

B&M would have a patent on their design not the concept. If Intamin comes up with their own design they could very well make a floorless.

A smooth floorless, nice concept. I think that its a good idea.

Oh, I dont think that he meant it as a "Theme" park.

We are restless natives. I had my doubts about this thread from the title but thankfully noone needs to point you towards 'Posting.... and You!'.

I think that your idea is really good, i would love to see somethign like that for this coaster. Although the whole 4 across seating arrangement probably wont do well in that tight straightaway, intamin doesent have a floorless train yet and someone correct me if im wrong but i dont think intamin has made a train for steel track that seats more than two across (yet) *no dont tell me about port adventura because thats not built yet*. I was actually having a talk the other day with someone about this very idea.

I dont think we will see a floorless train, but i fully agree it would be sweet.

"Now youre ready to start posting....

... and YOU too!"

Mechanical Engineer: Dont mess with us, we design your coasters.

Good thought, but i dont really see it happening. The wide flooreless trains would seem like a safety hazard going through the tight squeze between the row of supports on the newly installed run of track. Unless of course Intamin were to create some cool, funky fresh new train like a 2 passenger one or something. Then that would be pretty hott.
