How'd you come by your username here?

Question for you, Dan:

Why did you change from 'MagnumDan'?

Mine is self-explanitory. But for those that might not get it: I worked as a ride-op on the Monster for 2 years and decided to change my username from my original during the 1st year. This happend back in 1999.

Mine was just the first thing that came to me. I wanted to reply to a post last summer and I needed to register, and Coasterfan was the first thing that came into my head.
Back in the day, Dan's screen name was Airtime205.

As a long time GTTPer, I do believe his original screen name was Airtime205. I do not believe it was ever Magnum Dan.

If I am incorrect Regis then I would like to phone a friend. I choose Mr Skyward. ;)

Love ya Dan no matter what your name is!!! :)

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that? :)

well I'm in a band called Confidential Public, I am the lead singer and that is how I got my name
Steel is an alloy that makes many monster sized structures. Buildings, bridges, heavy equipment, natural gas and oil rigs, roller coasters, among other things.

I honestly don't remember where I came up with the name other than it wasn't roller coaster related when I did.

Mine is a derogatory nickname people called me because I love/work at a zoo. However since my real name is Nate and Newt is kinda close I actually liked it and use it as a screen name. I usually put something in front of it such as night or blue to be different. Names used so far NightNewt (AIM) NEWT (CB) BlueNewt (Nightscrawlers) newt (GTTP).

My favorite ride is Mean Streak. When my 2 daughters were small, they would look at Mean Streak, point at it and say "look at her, she's the color of ginger". I thought it was a cute comment, so I've called that coaster "Ginger" ever since. My daughter surprised me by signing me up at GTTP and she chose Ginger as my username.

I came across mine when I decided to sign back up on GTTP after I left it a while back I didn't want to use my old username so to keep my identity I came up with MaskedCoasterFreak (besides I love coasters) as for my signature thats from an old play I did back in high school it was on of the lines that really stuck out in my mind for some odd reason.

Who was that masked man anyways?, I don't know but he sure had a stupid looking horse.

2000-2002: Camp Snoopy

2003: Mean Streak

2004: TBA

Mine was chosen because it was a name given to me back in 1999 by the beloved Raptor boys. It used to be Raptor Girl, but they decided Raptorqueen suited me better. Never been prouder of a nickname....
I am to lazy to make up a name, so I just used my nickname that all my friends call me and added the year that I was born to the end of it. So I use the same name everywhere so that I don't have to rememember it from site to site.

Life has it's ups and downs, might as well make it on a coaster!

When this question was asked on CoasterBuzz I could not remember why I chose my screenname or what it meant. The same still applies.

Sincerely,
James K

Well my username used to be "Franklyn" (my middle name). But then since the aquisition of G.L., I figured i would rather have the name of the coaster i used to work on, some years ago. and as far as my quote, it was daily that i had to ask it.

How many times do I have to ask you to please do not sit on the silver hand rails?

im not really sure why I chose my name. Probably becuase i like steep drops and my brithday is april 30th.
Everyone else seemed to have really cool names... very creative... since I'm not young and hip, I just tried to think of something that defines me... A huge coaster fan with a large family! In my signature I just tried to show how Cedar Point is more than just world breaking rides... It's a story.
