REALISTICALLY!!! How would you spend money on the park this year. Obviously no coaster this year. Maybe a thrill ride and updates to park.
Coasters:
-Finish Paint job on Millenium Force
-Sound effects, smoke, and lights in Maverick's Tunnel
-New Trains for Corkscrew (Like Carolina Cobra)
-Pad Iron Dragon Trains
-Also Trim back trees around ride and clean pond near Dragster side. (Gross)
-Replace all light bulbs (Power Tower, Millennium Force, Giant Wheel, Himalaya, and Mantis/BlueStreak Lift Lights)
-Touch up BlueStreak Paint
-Put those Bird Needle things on Raptor to stop them from nesting and standing on it and covering it in Poop! (Plus Clean Poop)
Thrill Rides:
-Expand MaxAir Que Space.
-Add some good music to Witches Wheel while it is going.
Family Rides:
-Remove one of the Car Rides (Either Turnpike or Antique Cars for future.
Extra:
-Remodel and deep clean Bathroom near Wildcat, near Gemini, and near Raptor. (Only ones I saw during Trip this year that were nasty and smelly.)
-Add 15 Foot Trees around the park for more Shade.(Not two foot ones)
-Fix the Dragster Speedometer
-Run more fans (Plus add a few more on certain rides) in the Que. I was sweating buckets waiting in line for Dragster.
They are all reasonable things that Front Office could do this year. Maybe even more things like new Thrill Ride. From your experiences, How would you Spend Off-season Money?? Be reasonable. Iwann see what people agree/disagree and would add.
When I first saw this, I thought you meant my off-season money. I was thinking Vegas. As far as this goes, another wishlist? Really?

Eat 'em up, Tigers, eat 'em up!
I'm pretty sure Blue Streak was painted pretty recently and it received new lift hill lights very recently too. The Wildcat washrooms are some of the newer ones in the park so they'll probably be fine. If you replace them with the Magnum washrooms I'll agree with other two you mentioned.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

Haha, me too! Paying off Lasik and then maybe getting a season pass for next year.
I wish the Iron Dragon had its original paint job...
Don't even think about it, little boy. I will race you back to the Mean Streak and win.
Soak City needs some love. A 10 lane ProSlide mat racing slide would be awesome, and not that expensive. They are a pretty high-capacity slide.
Other than that, I think that a little bit of money could go a long way towards updating existing rides using some of the suggestions above. They could improve upon safety a bit too, maybe shoulder restrains for Cadillac cars or five point harnesses for Paddlewheel Excursions would be a good idea? Of course, you don't want people unbuckling them during the ride so you would need one of those ride operator "key" sticks to let people out at the end.
upgrade to LED lighting on all the rides!
Its time to re-route Power Towers entrance, to right across from TTD.
Hotel Breakers Tower and East section upgrades.
Take all the loose change found all over the park and replace the OTSR on Maverick with the straps found on I-305 ;). Or just take the receipt from STR back to Intamin and ask for a refund or at least ask them for free strap restraints for building a dud of a water ride (keep customer happy). Honestly, what would that cost Intamin to swap out the restraints, to make a good ride, great!......

I couldn't agree more! This is a fantastic idea and would probably drive more traffic to the ride!
Every year I am at Cedar Point, I notice that people have a difficult time figuring out where to get on the PT.

Ride entrances are placed so as to spread crowds out. Putting another entrance in one of the most congested areas of the park would be a pretty bad move, in my opinion. Making PT's current entrance more obvious would be helpful though. But still, enough people find PT that it's probably not necessary.

You mean use the money that they normally donate to charity? Classy!

Since when is StR a "dud"? Anecdotal evidence from the first year the ride has been open seems to be mixed, at worst.
And judging by Maverick's consistently-long lines, there's absolutely, positively no need to change the restraints.

Isn't this about the 10th wishlist thread we've had this year? Geez, can't we just enjoy the park being open?

They could just simply put arrows along the gate. They arent as costly as rerouting the whole entrance. I kind of like it that people cant find the entrance because Power Tower is one of my favorite rides you can just get on it without waiting in a line.
RIP DEMON DROP I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU
DJ....chill out! I was joking about the loose change, i just threw that in there because i thought it sounded funny, guess i need to add a winky in there for the "always serious" readers....and i do consider STR a dud...even on hot days...prime time for water rides, it was a walk on the week we were there, and it was in the 90's and humid. Just my opinion now....relax!
The last 3 days we were there it was down, IMO it blows! How can you F-up a water ride! What Rapids?
Added a winky to my previous post for DJ!

^ When I was there the last week of July STR had the longest line for any water ride in the park. The line stretched out past the train tracks and filled up most of the switch backs. Now that does not sound like a dud. The only thing about the ride that is a dud is the fact you can leave it completely dry.
STR also has decent capacity... and IMO that is the best water ride in the park. Call me whatever you want; I like that ride.

Since this is another wishlist: I wish for 3% unemployment, the stock market to stop going down so I quit losing money in my 401k.
And I almost forgot World peace.
How's that unrealistic of a wishlist for you.
