Jus got off!! Best thing ever!!! Very fast, very smooth, and very intense!!! I loved every second of it!!
Great coaster! Been on it 8 times and its a different experience depending on where you sit. Been on the front row but the back seems more intense.

Great ride! Restraints are very comfortable! 6'4" about 265. Fit just fine in any seat! Have yet to sit in the big boy seats.

Very comfortable...us big guys fit in it well...already on way home to Michigan.
Nausea factor high...I wouldn't be able to ride it twice in a row, similar to Raptor nausea wise.
Amazing view while on it...air feels awesome rushing over you.
It's an awesome ride to say the least. I rode it 4 times, twice on each side. My wife and I prefer the left side. The ride really slows after the dive loop. It seems as if it kinda creeps through the next roll over the entrance, but that's actually my favorite part. Just something cool about taking it at a slower speed. The whole entrance is beautiful, especially at night.
I prefer the front just because of the hang time on the drop.
Only complaint are the restraints being tight at the end.
Is it just me or does the ride feel and look compact? Especially the seats.

That is great news. Right about the same build, glad that I won't have to sit in the ehmmm, larger seats, lol.
Just got off of it for the 10th time! Ive ridden in nearly every car on both side (missing a few middle seats). I gotta say my favorite seat is the front right seat! The open/exposed feeling is great plus there is some amazing airtime in that seat. That being said, my 2nd favorite is the back right seat. The back right is very intense and offers all of the G-Forces you can handle (positive and negative). Its an amazing ride! This ride is gonna turn Cedar Point into a daily stamped!!!

So, I'm curious then....Is Gatekeeper the new Millenium Force?
Is that a joke? The only way that would be close to being possible would be if GateKeeper was over 250', but it's a measly 160'. Millennium's 300+' simply stomps all over any aspect of GK, no matter how great it is (which it definitely is).
^ I think he is referring to the smoothness of the ride, because MF is known for being really smooth.
^ I'm referring to the thrill. The excitement. The "That was freaking awesome. I must go on it over and over" effect.
We all know MF won't ALWAYS be the "it" factor at Cedar Point. So I was wondering if this replaces it!
I'm too sexy for my harness!
Are you kidding? Millennium in really just a one trick pony, it has a great first drop then some speed, other than that it is fairly mellow and lacking in anything related to airtime.
Bigger and faster than Millennium, height isn't all that important.

I cannot imagine how anything would replace Millennium Force unless it is taller and faster.
I'm pretty sure Maverick demonstrates that thrill has little to do with speed, and almost nothing to do with height.

So by this logic did Dragster "replace" Millennium? Truth be told IMO Magnum is still a better overall ride then Millennium...Millennium is just smoother. I like Millennium but like djDaemon said Maverick proves height and speed does not equal thrill!!!
The green train from Millennium landed under Magnum and that is what is causing Magnum to sink!!!
First, the good things. Cedar Point's hospitality was amazing. The new entrance is awesome. Gatekeeper is very pretty, smooth, and well engineered. It will delight people for years to come.
Except me.
The harnesses on GateKeeper are by far the worst I have ever experienced. The jacket type thing gets tighter and tighter throughout the ride and presses against my collarbone. I rode it no less than ten times trying to find a good position or a smarter way to ride it, but no luck. The harness causes actual pain, to the point that I almost want to cry. The harder you struggle, the worse it is.
I'm sure my skinniness doesn't help. Mr. Ouimet said I needed to "bulk up." I couldn't keep weight on if I tried. So, Gatekeeper is not much fun for me.
I'm glad everyone else seems to enjoy it.

It's just a personal thing that height and speed make for the best ride. I do like Millennium better than Dragster, so I have to eat my own words. If Dragster was the same ride type as Millennium with the same height and speed, then I would undoubtedly like it better. If they ever manufacture a 500-foot roller coaster, then I will be in Heaven.
