How many times have you rode it?
Yes, I thought the ride was too rough. Certainly not the "family" coaster it was initially marketed to be. I would say it is the third "roughest" ride in the park next to Mean Streak and Blue Streak. Portions of the ride I found enjoyable (the launch for instance) but it was taking the elements too quickly and I think the pacing was off for the tight circuit.
Just my .02 cents. Lots of people like the ride and that is great.

I have only got to ride it a few times, but I love it! On Friday we were the first ride of the day and then rode it again within 15 minutes! I wish I lived closer and then I would be able to ride it more, but I try to make sure I ride all the coasters I can when I am there!

I've ridden Maverick eight times, two or three of those were in the front seat. One of those was at night to. Longest that I've waited was an full hour (due to three small break downs), and the shorts was under five mins, or close to a walk-on ;)
