How many times do you go to Cedar Point each year?

We only go once a year. We stay for about 6 hours.

Any special reason you don't get to spend an entire day?

I've been averaging 12 visits per year which is good considering I work 2 jobs and go to school.

Once so far this year with another Halloweekends trip already scheduled. I live about 6 hours away so each trip takes a lot of planning. Each trip is two full days at the park though.

Usually go once every other year.It is usually the second week of June.Crowds are low and can get on the rides quickly. After a day I am good till the next time.

This year has been especially bad for me. I haven't been inside the park since Coastermania. Only 4 visits total this year, plus a few hours at Soak City last Saturday. But it appears I'll be there every weekend between now and closing day, so I guess that makes up for it.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

So I have a very random question for all of you that know the Causeway and parking lot like the back of your hand.

I love the view of the park while driving across the Causeway and this year I'll be taking my boyfriend who has never been. Since it's a long drive for us we are not actually going to the park the first day we get there, so we will have some time to kill that first day. Do you think it'd be able to just drive on the causeway for the view and not actually go inside the lot? Just turn around and come right back? I don't want to do so and then have to pay for parking when we don't even have tickets for that day.

It may seem kind of silly and a waste of time for those of you that see this view often but I'm very excited to take him for the first time and I want to share this view with him asap! I'm very impatient about this upcoming trip!

Let me know what you guys think, thanks!

I don't think there's anywhere to actually do a legal u-turn before the ticket booth. Better plan: go up to the booth, tell them you are dropping off/picking someone up(depending on the time of day). You can then drive right up to the dino at the front gate, drive through the pickup lane, and leave. You should only have to pay the causeway toll.

We went 32 times last year and so far 14 times this year. We usually get 6-10 visits at Soak City as well but only been there 2x so far. We live about an hour and 10 minutes from CP, so we feel blessed to be this close, though the drive can be a drag some days.

Grew up and still live an hour away. I remember my dad telling me when I was about 13 or so that I didn't realize how lucky I was to live so close to a park like Cedar Point because other people have to drive for hours just to get to parks that are half as nice. He would also point out that with Geauga Lake being only an hour away in the other direction we were just down right spoiled.

So far I have made around 30 some days for this year . I have been going there just about every weekend this year. It used to be in the past that I would go only during the opening weekend, coastermania & every weekend after labor day but now I have been hitting the park more often since they added more good rides to it.
