How many tests?

I remember that when MF first opened the yellow train was not operating during the normal hours. Form what I heard it was because their were not enough test done for that particular train. Does anyone know how long they have to test each train before it is able to be used?

The best thing about Six Flags "Worlds of Adventure" is that Cedar Point is nearby!

I have heard the same thing, and with six trains, no wonder they built this ride so soon. I think in order for each train and the ride itself to run with occupants the Ohio Department of Agriculture must come in and inspect everything.

Correct...

In the event of MF, the yellow train had not been inspected by the state yet from what I recall and that's the reason it wasn't running.

A friend of mine works at Six Flags America, here in Maryland, and I know that they have to let the ride run 200 times without breaking down before they can open it to the public. I don't know if that is a state, company, or manufacturer requirement, but it is probably something along those lines for TTD as well.
So what, do they just put tallies on the station floor after each run?
