How many of you remember this ride?

It was something called the jaycopetr or joy copter. Basically it was a helicpter shaped car attached to a long arm that spun around. There is a picture of it in Town Hall. Probably the most famous ride of this type was located in the midway area of the 1964-65 New York World's Fair. There is an olf brochure that either the Follet museum or the library has with an aerial picture of the park from 1964 and the ride was near where the games area is now.

I remember looking at that ride in the town hall also

I think it was Gyro Copter, it was only at C.P. for one season ('66?) and may have been the one from the NY Worlds Fair. I'll have to look closer next time, but I think the picture of it in Town Hall is not actually of C.P. I know that's the case with the Broadway Trip, and something makes me think the same about the Copter shot, too.
