How many laps?

How many laps have you all had on WickedTwister? I had 6 on opening day. Whats the most you guys got on opening day?

Okay a couple of questions. Do you call them laps since the ride doesn't complete a full circuit. Secondly, do you count it as a lap each time you go through the station? Anyway, no matter how you count them, my count is 0 because I haven't been to Cedar Point this year and might not get there at all this year.

Hey, come to think of this, if this was golf, I'd be currently tied, with the majority of other people in the world, for the lead.

Well, it didn't. I only got two more rides in. Shortly after WT opened to employees, it experienced mechanical problems.

The train launched the first time and as it was up the front tower, the brakes dropped down. The train stopped. I thought something got in the path of the sensors. But, I guess not. They told us, it wouldn't open the rest of the night. I got out of line and watched them handle the situation. Maintenance tied a rope to the back of the train. Maintenance and supervisors from Park Op were in the station pulling on it to get the train back into the station. The rope snapped, letting them all fall at the same time to the ground. They then tied two ropes and it then worked.

I'm not sure why it shut down, but the free hot dogs and pop was good!
