I am always reading . . .
"How many rides on this ride, that ride, in a day"
But, I am more interest in the following.
My "Riding as Many rides as I can in a day" Limit seems to be around 30.
What I mean is I start in the back of the park, hit many rides-gemini, mine ride, wave swinger, antique cars, mean streak, etc. I then move to the front of the park, hit wicked twister, disaster transport, raptor, and keep circling the park, until ...
either I can't walk any more, or I just don't want to wait to ride any more rides.
What are your "Limits" to how many rides in a day you can handle?
Again My "Ride Limit" is 30, at around 28 I start to slow down, I have gone as high as 35 rides in a day.
Thanks.
Whenever I feel like calling it a day. Sometimes I stay until close and hang out, and other days, I leave a couple of hours early.
CP isn't about rides for me anymore. Well, it is, but it's more about a way to relax and clear my head of the M-F life.
Usually, I see shows, shoot pictures and/or take a nap on the beach. When I stay at the Maples, I go back and relax in the hammock for a few hours.
I guess I'm getting old, but who knows.
I experienced that too this year exit. In previous years I would always run from ride to ride to get in as many as possible, but this year we did a lot of relaxing around the park. The grassy patch near Raptor was a nice place to take a nap. I find myself spending hours walking around taking pictures. It's much better this way.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Yeah everyone has a point here, Cedar Point is not all about rides. Frontier Trail is a great place to go when you want to beat the heat, and shop around for some cool items. With all of the shade in the park, I wouldnt be surprised if people came there just to have a picnic and then left.

I hit one of my limits on about my 13th consecutive lap on raptor during Millennium Mania. That was near 70 inversions in the second to last row in about an hour with minimal breaks in the station.
I had to go lay down for a while - I'll never be the guy breaking records in a centrifuge.

For some reason, I must write down all the rides I hit that day. It is a weird habit. On the drive home I write down in order, as close as I can remember, all the rides I have ridden that day.
Then I divide that many rides by the cost of my ticket, and as long as each ride doesn't cost me more than $1.00 a ride, it was worth going (I set goals)
So I have a season pass, I had to ride at least 90 rides this year. I believe I rode at least 330 rides this year. That puts my cost per ride way below $1.00.
I had a good year.
But I have fun remembering all the rides I hit in a particular day.
To this day i have never found myself wanting to stop riding rides. After a couple good laps on MF, TTD, Raptor, or Manits. I just go cool down and relax with a couple rides on Gemini and Take a whole seat to myself.
I never stop riding. Then again i only go about 3 times a year.

Now that I have a digital camera, I just might find myself strolling around taking pictures more often now. Even taking my time eating instead of running around seems to be more my speed.
Sheesh, for 15, I sound really old. ;)
Speaking of which... you're allowed to store your digital camera in those bins, right? (Also, am I correct in assuming MF and TTD don't have them?)
TTD and MF don't have the bins because of the fact they have seperate load/unload stations.
You can put your camera in the bins at the other rides but remember. "Cedar Point, and it's employee's, are not responsible for anything lost, STOLEN, or damaged."

Yeah, if you're going to place your camera in a bin, I'd reccommend you place it in a bag well before you get into the station to kind of disguise the fact that it's actually a camera.
^^^ + ^^
Thought about both of those. Wouldn't make sense for the load/unload situation, and I don't even know if I'd trust my camera to be there after the ride.
Hat, yes. Camera, likely not. ;)
I am dating myself here, but in Junior High about 1986 or 1987 I made it a point to ride every ride at Cedar Point in one day that I could get on, and that was when they had many simmilar rides in the park. i.e. Schwabinchen sp.?/Trabant, Dodgem 1+2, Caddilac/Antique/Tunpike Cars. It did get kind of monotonous after a while, but afterwards I still had time to go on acouple of rollercoasters for a second ride.
