How long is the line?

I looked at the Power tower cam and noticed that the queline is only 3/4 full I was wondering does anyone know how long the line is If the Que is full. the TTd line looks much shorter than MFs.

if the line is totally full its a 2 and a half hour wait, i was there about a week ago witht he line full and thats the wait time the sign gave us.
You have to factor in delays, and most of the time it will break down when you are in line so its very hard to tell. One time I waited one hour from the pop machines, on a no breakdown/good capacity day.

I strongly recommend getting into line when the ride is closed. As long as the line doesn't go any furth than Power Tower, your wait will be signifcantly shorter than you may suspect.

Last time I rode, I don't think the line was even to the pop machines, and the sign said 4 Hours. The reason was the chance of breakdowns. With some rollbacks, I think I ended up waiting a little over an hour!

I think the line depends a lot on the reliability at the time. If there are a lot of rollbacks, you will be waiting a while, even if you are almost at the ramp.

When the tire flew off, we weren't far from the ramp, but had to wait an extra hour and a half.

Ok, enough of my Dragster Experiance, time to go imagine hitting 50 Magnums for the season tomorrow!

You'd be surprised...Now that they are not loading the last 4 seats in the trains, your waits will be at the very least, 30 minutes more.

Just got back from the point. Waited 4 hous (6:45ish till 11), most/all of that breakdown (it was only running 20-30 minutes). Ran back, got in line just before it closed... waited 15 minutes.
Wow, what a drag. No pun intended. I waited just 50 minutes for my first ride, from the vending machines, and then an hour for the second ride. This was about a month ago, it was running consistently for a few hours. So when they get it up and running regularly, it shouldn't be more than like 1 1/2 hours in the full queue....just an guesstimate.

If you don't count my two hour sunburning session waiting for them to actually open Dragster yesterday, I waited 2 hours for 2 rides--the first was about 20 min., the second, well was 1hr, 40 min. And they are loading the last two rows, I rode both times in the very last row yesterday.

Now if I could get lucky enough to get a rollback...

Awww, bad day? Take a different perspective on things. Try upside down, a barrel roll, a cobra roll or a corkscrew. Life can't be all that bad when your feet are over your head!

The wait times are wrong though, not including the breakdowns. If it was a 2 hour wait and they have no breakdowns its usually only an hour. We timed it from the pop machines and we waited about an hour, and then of course waited about a half an hour more for the front

Hey ive probably met you at cedar point, im there enough!! And thats me in the picture on the left

Ive never waited more than two hours. Thats when the ride runs like it should. You can tell when its running bad so you just leave the line if its not running so well.

Ive found that in the evening when the temp goes down it runs better.

Usually the line is this long -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yesterday we waited until we saw it running with people, before we even headed over. We got in line about 45 minutes after the first train with riders launched (6pm-ish?) - we started in line on the midway all the way past Power Tower down by Iron Dragon's pretzel finish. Even with a 15 or 20 minute breakdown we were on in just over 2 hours.

My friend just returned from the Point and TTD was open all day. He is as womanly as they come and he was really complaining about the wait being 3.5 hours. He says he is too good and crap like that to wait 3.5 hours for a ride. Now I would wait that happily but thats me. Is 3-4 hours a normal wait time for TTD this time of season?

Like people have mentioned earlier, it all depends on the amount of downtime. Earlier in July we got in line and the whole queue was full, except for a couple of rows. We exited the ride only 55 minutes later because there were no breakdowns. You wouldn't believe how fast that line can move without downtime.
