I just want to know how long you stay in the park when you go, whether you got a season pass or not. I got a platinum pass and I go several times a year, but depending on who I go with, I stay for a different amount of time. My sister likes to just ride a few rides then leave, we go in for ERT at 9, usually knock out Maverick and MF, then hit a few rides (mostly coasters and Skyhawk) then leave around 2 or 3PM. When I go with my friend, who is just a regular season passholder, I usually arrive around 11 and stay most of the day, last time we were there until about 8:30. How long do you go for?

We stay literally all day. I usually go with an 11 year old with endless energy and we get there for early entry at 9 and stay until the park closes at 10 or 12. If it closes at 10, we usually stay for the dance party because neither of us want to leave. We really enjoy riding the smaller coasters and flat rides later at night, and usually go to Soak City for a few hours in the afternoon.
Drive from Green Bay, WI 5-7 times a year.
Usually stay on point 4-8 days each time.
It's awesome cause we never feel rushed to ride anything or wait in long lines.
We take our time and enjoy so much more of the park then when we used to go for 2-3 days

We have passes. We usually show up some time between 3 and 5 and then stay until close. There's something about leaving the park when it's still light out that just feels wrong. I've found that a full open to close day wears me out and then I can't truly enjoy the end of the evening so we only do that if we are going with friends that can only go one day.
we've got two young kids (3 and 6.5) so we don't stay too long most days.
We usually arrive around noon and then leave anywhere from 6pm to 8pm. We've been at the park until close a few times the kids are usually ready to go home in the early evening.
We usually try and stay a few nights a year at Breakers even though we live less than an hour a way. Even though we're close to the park, it's really great being right there on the peninsula. We tried out Lighthouse Pointe this summer and had a great time. When we stay on site we usually spend more time in the park.
Having young kids has really changed my attitude about the park. I remember going to the park as a teenager and even as an adult and riding all day long on nothing but coasters. The past few years I've rode Woodstock Express and other kiddie rides much more than the big rides but have still had great times at the park.
This summer has been great because my son is now tall enough for the real coasters. It's been great getting a chance to re-experience these rides with him but still have fun in Camp Snoopy, Planet Snoopy and Kiddie Kingdom with my daughter as well.
It's amazing how well rounded the park has become. Live shows, travelling bands, big rides, small rides, the beach, Soak City and all the games along the midway. There really is something for everybody!

Typically get there about 7:30pm and have a meal(all season meal deal). By then, the early evening leave crowd has gone and I do TTD,MF,GtKpr,& Mav. Stay till closing and end it on the last(or nearly last)TTD train. Then take night pics while walking thru the park to the lot. When the weather gets cooler in sept & oct,I'll arrive earlier, don't like heat.

Most days we go, we ride the Dean Trailways bus from Michigan, and arrive around 10:30 and stay until about 7:45, because the bus leaves at 8. We typically go to TTD first and then Maverick and MF before making another loop to hit Magnum and all the others. Also, we have made it a tradition to end with an ice cream cone from Toft's on the way out.
Loving Maverick since 2007!
XS NightClub I love your approach. I like to spend several days at a time at CP.
My last trip, 4th of July weekend, I arrived at 2pm Thursday and stayed until about 2pm Monday. I always stay 2 nights or more at Breakers when I'm at Cedar Point. I wish I could stay until close the day I'm going home, but due to a crazy work schedule, I usually leave early afternoon...

Usually 4-5hrs per visit, depending what is going on that day with events and such. But a few hours is all I usually need since we visit so often.

In my family we all have platinum passes. We go every Sunday except a few and do early entry (MF walkback this year) and stay until at least 4pm if the park isn't busy. If busy, we have lunch at Panda and head out by 2pm. Some of us will do early entry and meet up with my daughter and grandson later and I marathon Wilderness Run with my grandson while my daughter gets some coaster rides. Every visit varies and depends on crowd levels in the afternoon.

Every visit this year, except 1, has been in park for early entry(9am). Our visits are geared toward park event(s), ERT(of interest), work schedules, finances & operating hours. We chose to stay all day till closing.
Keep passing the fun along!
Since I drive 10ish hours (depending on traffic), I only go one time a year, and it is usually for Halloweekends... so I will get there for early entry and stay until the park closes Friday and Saturday.
It makes for a long and exhausting day, but it is only once a year, so I can handle it!
I live 45 minutes away in the Cleveland suburbs and have a pass so I don't feel like I have to rush or get my money's worth on one day visit. So if weather's not good, lots of rides down, or crowded I am not disappointed.
If you live 4 hours or more away I highly suggest you spend at least one night or two so either two full days in the park itself or one day & half. That way you can get on the most if not all the rides you want. Mondays are the best day in my opinion to go, hardly any long lines.
Depending where you live I highly suggest a platinum pass which allows you to go to other parks in North America. For example if you live in Cincinnati you can use it at Kings Island and Cedar Point. If you live in Buffalo you can easily get to Cedar Point in three or for hours or to Canada's Wonderland in Toronto (in two hours). Moneys worth on rides.
