How is The Millennium Force running this year?

I wanted to know...How is the Millennium force running this year...I was at cedar point only 4 times this year and it was down part of the day once...I would say its running good...But i heard that the train gets stuck at the top sometimes and even about the rollbacks.

Last night it was kicking more ass than Mini-Me on a crack binge. Very nice. Most airtime that I've had on the ride in ages, especially in seat 2-1.

Jeff, do you remember what train you rode in? All of them are running great compared to the first few weeks but Red train is seriously on fire.

Also for whatever reason I feel the front seat of each car gives better air than the back seats. I do think 2-1 may be the "ejector" seat on MF even though ejector air is not it's forte.

Ya, I was in the very back of the ride and got a ton of Air Time. The most I have ever gotten on that ride, It was running great!

I got 5-2,1-2, and 5-2 again. Yellow was great and red was awesome! I got the 2nd to last train out of the night. It was definitely going the fastest I've felt this year. I rode Magnum right before the park closed. I got the ejector seat, and the lapbar was down only one click. To top it all off the trims were off. That ride was insane! It beat out even MF for the night...the intensity of the pretzel and awesome air of the return hill rocked!

Snoopy Rocks! On Ice starts June 22--Do you think they'll let me drive the Zamboni machine?

I want to drive the Zamboni!

I'd say compared to the first few weeks in operation it's running well. I have yet to get a ride in the infamous blue train, but I got 3 yellows and 7 reds and they both ran wonderfully. Almost at par with Millennium Mania last season.
if you ask me, Millennium Force's recent ass - kickin streak is just proof positive that it (for the most part) was the cold weather that made it suck the first week or 2.

Millennium is spelled with TWO N's PEOPLE!!!!!

Mille seems to be running really well this year(at least it did last time I rode it about 3 weeks ago)

3 weeks ago, we spent lots of quality time with Millie. We avoided the blue train like the plague. When it came around the last curve, it was obviously going slower than either of the other trains. Red train seemed to be going a teensy bit faster than yellow, but BOTH were screamin'!

WOO HOO!

Yellow Train RULES!

After riding it a couple of times this year(2nd being Coastermania), it is one of the most boring rides!!! I would rather ride Mean Streak. So MF goes over 90 MPH! So what!!! I can do that in my car!! There's nothing exciting about the ride anymore! The 1st drop and overbank are the only intense parts. After that *yawn* there's nothing to it.

At least Jerry still knows Maggie is better. ;) I've said before that MF is no more than my third favorite ride at CP behind Magnum and Raptor (maybe others too). I won't go as far as to say MF is one of the most boring rides and I would definitely take it over Mean Streak, but I have to agree that they could have done more with its immense layout.

Jerry, have you been on Nitro yet? I only ask because I know you're a big Apollo fan.

That's a common expectation among enthusiasts, but when I compare it to the other Intamin hypers, I put MF in its own class. None of the other rides maintain speed like that one. I really dig all that speed.

I totally agree with Jerry and Matt, and I've said it before, I'd rather ride other coasters in the park than wait for Millie anymore. I'd rather ride Magnum with just as long of a line and enjoy every part of the ride instead waiting and being zipped through a course that is actually "too smooth". I wouldn't call it boring, but even the first drop seems to be the only fun on the ride. All speed - No Content. For the record, Millie is now #4 on my list at CP.

Funny, because I can go Blue Streak's speed in my car too..

yea if we think like that then...whats the point of going on any coasters....just go drive your car around :)...for the whole day. and you don't even have to wait in line for it.

Welcome to New York City

I tell people that if they like speed, then MF is the ride. It just doesn't have the FUN factor like it used to. I know a lot of other people love it. I'm glad someone does! :)

Matt,I haven't been on Nitro yet. have heard a lot about it. I was hoping to go on it before my Europe trip. Which I will be hitting the newest B&M hyper: Silverstar.
