How is the iron dragon

Have the visuals become more impressive since the trees have been taken down.

More impressive? I'd guess they woulld be LESS impressive. Yeah, you can see the midway/new ride, but I always thought the trees made the ride what it is.

I feel that dragon iorn suffered a big blow when manits was built and some of the trees were cut down then. i have a feeling that the new ride, whatever it may be, will only hurt the dragon more. its sad too cuz ID used to be a fun ride....slowly the trees disappear

Mark, I still think Iron Dragon is a fun ride, regardless of the trees. Really, the trees are growing back. Look how much time it took for all of those trees over by Magnum to grow into the big monster trees that they are now. Sure, they will plant new trees, but it will just take a while for them to grow up again.

Unless, if they choose to go for the more expensive, yet faster way, the park could always put in big trees to start with.

I think it'll be cool to see more of iron dragon track, especially that last drop before going into the well, last hill into the pretzel...I kinda always wished I could see more, nad now ID will be a kinda diff experiance then before.

I rode it yesterday and didn't find the ride to be any different at all. The only thing I did notice was that lack of trees on the left side after the 2nd lift, but I really don't think that ruined the ride.

My son and I rode it... it actually was more fun being able to see more! Seemed like the wind really rushed through your hair more being open like that!

My favorite part of the ride was always the swinging through the woods after the 2nd lift. Now that is gone. I think the woods make Iron Dragon a better ride. It's a great ride for the young ones who wouldn't care if it was in the parking lot, but for those of us who actually enjoy riding through the surroundings I hope they put some trees back.
