How has Shoot the Rapids been running this year?

Also, curious to know if the other water rides are up and running for the year?

I've seen it a few times now up and running. I've also seen Thunder canyon testing, and I haven't been over near snake river falls sooooo.

Wouldn't that be kinda neat if they added the old scenes from the Paddlewheel along the route of Shoot the Rapids?

My guess, same as it always has been, long and not getting its riders wet except for the occasional water cannon that somebody pays for.

Thats what i was hoping for, the adding of the PWE scenes to STR. Oh well....

Some are along the path for Blood on the Bayou.

ANd the rest have basically already rotted away (they've been rotting away for decades)...

Shoot the Rapids has been up and running every trip I've been there this year, including one morning when it was 52 degrees outside

I haven't seen anyone queuing up to ride it in this weather -- the next couple days will probably be a different story

I was there before memorial day and it was stuck at the top of the first hill. They shut the flume off and a couple of guys in tiesclimbed the hill and pushed the boat down. They then ran empty boats for several hours. My other time there it wasn't running at all.
