How far for the first ride

Quite new to this, (1st post) but was wondering what part of the country people bidding on first ride are from. Me? I'm from South Carolina and hope my bid stays good. If not, guess I'll bid higher!

There was a small blurb about the auction on channel 13 here in Toledo on the 5:30 news. They said that the Red Cross has received bids from as far away as Europe for the VIP ride.

There is a family that went to my church and high school and their surname was PORN. Poor (or ridiculously lucky?) kids! Uhhh and they liked Cedar Point. (Hence. . .it's relevant.)

I'm bidding.. and I'm from Lansing, Michigan..... but not really that far.... but it'll be a long drive so early in the morning on opening day thats for sure!
