How do platinum passholder ride nights work?

How exactly do they work? Do you just wait outside the line before the park closes or can you go anytime before the park closes? Can you only have one ride on each coaster or can you go as many times as you want on both rides before the hour ends?

They clear the line and pass holders line up outside the line. We waited about 10 mins for the Gatekeeper ride night to get going. By the end we are usually not having to get off between rides.

Looking forward to Millennium Force (and Rougarou) ride night this Friday!

Missed out. We didn't hit the road until 3pm Thursday, 6hrs to Camp Sandusky, the park was closed by the time we had set up the camper... 😢

Sometimes the 'ride nite' hour is more than an hour. Sometimes(Gatekeeper,Valravn,Rougaroo,Magnum,Maverick),if no one is waiting in line for the seat you're occupying, you get to stay in it. Sometimes(MF and TTD) when ridership is so low you get to go directly from unboarding to boarding.

Sometimes ride nites are very crowded, sometimes they're very uncrowded. Impossible to predict.

The ride night starts as soon as the regular line clears out. You can ride as many times as you want during the ride night.
