How have the rides been so far? Has Mean Streak been running good? Was Wicked Twister open? Have the roller coasters been good? Just want to know. Thanks!
I went today to CP. Mean Streak was rougher than last year for some reason, I felt like I slept on a cement ground and woke up with my head being sore from it.. it really rattled my head. I rode the green train.
Wicked Twister was running. The MF was stuck from last night, but they finally got it up and running by the middle of the day.
Raptor was a walk-on at 9 a.m. (since I am a platinum pass holder).
Magnum's line was only 10 minutes or so and that was awesome!
Most rides seem to be working today. At least the ones I saw up and running. I think Blue Streak was up and down most of the day though, I didn't ride everything I wanted to, but I got a good 7 hours in.
Considering the fact that it was cold this weekend and will be for a few more days we may not see the full effect of Mean Streak's refub until it warms up. When a wooden coaster is cold it runs rougher than if it is warmer outside. Just a thought to keep in mind.
Good to know everything was up and running well. This bodes well for my trip tomorrow! :)

Hoping to one day build these great machines that we affectionatly call "Coasters"
TTD ran only a few times this weekend, nothing but rollbacks opening day 8pm-11pm.
Millie got stuck sat. night-sun. afternoon
Loved the fact that magnum was still 15 min wait :)
First rollback=opening weekend '09
Mean Streak did not have any noticeable improvement to me. The ride seemed to run a bit faster, but was not any smoother, and still provided no enjoyable forces.

MS makes your head and torso feel like the punching bag
of a professional boxer--cant be good for one's internal
organs
Look on the bright side; it could be a 218 foot tall piece of crap that feels like being in a car wreck
^ Oh I get it! You mean Son of Beast!
I still live for wooden coasters no matter how bad they beat you up. It is part of the ride as far as I'm concerned. Granted it may not feel the best all the time and I do get off a little angry every now and then. HOWEVER, I still go back for more because I love them.

After riding MS in the rain Saturday I have to say it's a really good ride...in the rain; i think we slid through the trims b/c there was actually airtime!
