Try the Howard Johnson website. Or maybe Travelocity, Orbitz, or Expedia.

Without upstops, airtime would have a whole new meaning!

I was hoping someone else knew as well. However my husband and I already made the reservations to stay there. It was just so cheap!
Try the search; there are several experiences with it. Some do not like it at all.
yeah we made reservations for 16th but when i called direct to the hotel said they were closed for the season

wierd

We stayed there last fall. If you don't mind no frills basics, but clean, then it's ok. It could use some updating, some rooms bathrooms are better than others. Would I stay there again? Depends, if I found another place for the same price or a little more, I'd probably try the other place.

Preparing for Daddy 101 again!!

Well after searching the boards and seeing all the boasts about the Econolodge on Cleveland Rd... I decided to cancel my reservations at the HoJo Express (saw a few negative things about it) and made new ones at the Econolodge. It was only $5.00 more expensive. I am looking into Breakers Express though, becuase we have a coupon...however we won't be in our room much anyway. Only staying one night... doing Starlight tickets Sunday night, then all day on Monday, then driving back home to Columbus Monday night.
Breakers Express - Weekend of May 10/11 - $59 a night!

Hmmm.. Thanks Point4Life! So it would only be $49 to stay at Breakers Express with our coupon! The extra $9 worth it? (what a dumb question I am sure!) If we stay at Breakers Express we could get into the Park at 9:30, yeah???
Breakers Presidential sweet $1000 may 13/15
I will be going to CP during the weekend of May 9. I already made reservations at the Best Western Norwalk. From the info. I got, this hotel is supposed to be around 20 minutes from CP. Is this accurate? Also, if anyone had stayed there before (or know someone who stayed, of course), I'll like to know your comments about it.

Thanks.

In order to get early entry, you have to stay at a cp resort; ( Hotel Breakers, Sancastles.ect..) it cost more, but well warth it.

I believe Breakers Express is included in the early admission deals.

the howard johnson reviews on travelocity would lead me to believe that they are horrible.
Breakers Express IS a Cedar Point Resort and they do include the early entry. (I emailed them) Early entry is half an hour before gates open to the public...so 9:30 then? That's what I was mostly wondering.
Gates open to the public at 9:30... gates open to Joe Cool Club and resort guests at 9:00.
