Hotel Breakers question

Has anyone ever stayed in the twin section at breakers? I was told it is in the rotunda section. Do they have the keycards or actual keys? If anyone knows thanks

Actually they have modernized the doors and do use the same key cards as anywhere else in the hotel. My family once stayed inside of the tower rooms and they where the largest rooms I have seen there. The only hassel is you don't have the convience of the elevator and they are a "tad" bit older.

Hope it helped

Thanks, i have never stayed at this part before so i didnt know. I usually keep my room key in my shoe so i dont lose it, a metal key would hurt walking on all day. Maybe if i am close enough to the rotunda i can get wifi in my room.

Actually the twin section is the area above the long hallway from the main enterance to the lobby. The rotunda is on the other side of the lobby and is considered the main section.

The tower section is one of the new sections and has elevator access.

The twin section had been converted to "dorm" housing for employees back in the late 90s. Did it revert back to hotel rooms?

Twin is the area immediately above the long, front hallway...which is the original main entrance to Breakers.

^ Chief, I believe a few rooms are still used for select housekeeping employees.
