Hotel Breakers Main Section

Has anyone stayed in the main or twin sections of the Hotel Breakers recently? I haven't stayed there since the 90's and it was pretty bad. I am planning a trip with my family but I would be rooming by myself which means I only need one bed. Should I stay at the main section or should I spend the money for the tower section or Sandcastle Suites?

I think the "main" section overlooks the rotunda & it should be fine. In fact it should be very quaint. We always spend time in the rotunda playing cards & having tea/coffee. We stay in the tower ourselves, but for needed only 1 bed I would stay there no problem. Maybe you stayed in the BonAir section before? (dreadful) But if you're sure it was the main section & you hated it then, you prob. better go for the tower. I don't believe they have updated any of those older areas. Sandcastle looked so so when we looked around once, but we love The Breakers :)

I haven't stayed at Breakers since 1988, but it should be nice and a little updated by now. ;)

Nah, I think its basically the same. LOL!! :)
