Hotel Breakers Express

Hello everyone,

My family and I are planning a trip to Cedar Point. Last year we stayed at the Microtel (Huron) and it was pretty nice. However, this year we are planning on staying for 2 nights and thought that we might grab one of the packages from Breakers Express. I was wondering if anyone has any feedback on the hotel? I would hate to spend all of the money and then find that the hotel wasn't clean, etc. Please let me know if anyone has any advice on the hotel.

It is really good! It is very clean, and we've had no problems.

I've stayed at BE a few times. I've only had one sub par exprerience. It was at the front desk when we went to check out it took us over a half hour to get everything taken care of since we had a coupon, and the guy was new. It was opening day, and the manager wasn't at the desk to help for almost 20 minutes.

That one small problem won't stop me from going back to BE though. The rooms are clean, the service is usually very good (minus opening day jitters), and it's very close to the park.

I would recomend Light House Point over just about any other resort/hotel in the area though, but there is a significant diffence in price.

I was at Breakers Express last week (May 21-24) and have no complaints. We had a nice clean room and the staff was great.
